How does everyone think this will go?

I think the deal is dead, however I would love to be proved wrong. In reality he will probably sell all our assets and put the money in his own personal account. I genuinely fear for our club.

Option 3 for me

posted on 15/1/17

Well his real problem is that if we get relegated the club will be worth less money than it is now,
However if He was only offered 15 million then I don't blame him for turning it down.
The Yanks were in it to make money and it would be more difficult for them if they had to pay 50 million.
I hope that a compromise can be brokered but I doubt it.
Short term sell Lansbury and use his wages and fee to survive relegation. He was injured for a large proportion of the time that he was here, It was also interesting that neither of the sides that he was promoted with opted to buy him.

4 but will also sell the paddles

I think he may invest but so much as to stop us going down and to sell in the summer.

He will know he will receive a lot less if we go down.

JJ is still in the country so he can't think the deal is completely dead yet otherwise he would have left.

Could just be one big game between the two of them but I think that is unlikely.

If we hire a decent manager find some form and Fawaz thinks next year we could be promotion candidates then he may well get over excited and start throwing money about again.

More likely, the next manager will struggle as much as the rest and come the summer we will be either relegated or facing another bleak season in the championship in which case I hope he sells at a reduced price

It's a question of who you can get now

Rowett and Pearson will likely not be interested - with Pearson having been sounded out before by Forest. Although Pearsons stock has fallen a lot, he has no time for owners like Fawaz and he wouldn't last more than a week

Pardew will want a prem club as would Roy Hodgson. Thankfully Zola has been snapped up....

That leaves Kenny Jackett who is probably the most realistic shout, but he was shocking at Wolves. Either that or Billy....

Nigel Clough I would imagine would stay where he is given what he inevitably knows about Forest at present.

I wouldn't be surprised to see another foreign appointment. Someone like monty who doesn't know the club and what's happening

Billy is second favourite for the job after Rowett who has said already he isn't going to take it on

Betting markets can make you laugh.

Although...............

What concerns me is this. Yes it is the sun but if true.,, Fawaz is in deep poo poo. he owns JJM money!

FFS! he needs to sell 100% to JJM and go!

So he must of spent the Burke money too!

To be fair it's not just from the sun. These rumours have been circulating since the takeover collapsed and you wonder if it's from a source within the club

Why is no one thinking of Dougie?!

Webbo long time, where have you been?!

Plus I agree, it is interesting that JJ is still in the country as otherwise you would think that he would just leave. Maybe he thinks it is not quite dead yet and he is going to see if Fawaz's cracks which he really needs to for the good of the club.

I wish Fawaz would sell up and go. He's cocked the lot up both on and off the pitch. I don't know who he thinks is going to come and run the shambles he has created. The Yanks have got blood on their hands regarding the takeover, they tried and failed to takeover Everton and Swansea previously, maybe using similar tactics.

A £2.2m loan from JJM's company is shown at companies house. As for the talk of 15m, the reporter close to JJM called it a load of rubbish

posted on 15/1/17

There was talk of money being owed to Greek's as well relating to the staff they put in place and Vellios. Maybe that's Fawaz's master plan, get the interest parties to pump money in then let make the take overs collapse. It's like re-decorating your front room using paint and wallpaper samples

Yeah I'll see you there. We still on for conkers at lunch?

Maybe JJM is still in the country because he is contemplating bidding for another club.

Could be lots of reasons why he is still here, if indeed he still is.

Don't build your hopes up chaps.

Any manager thinking of taking over at. Forest is going to find out that a miracle is needed as there is no structure within the club. We appear to have no
CEO, director of football, Captain, financial expert or even recruitment advisor with FAH trying to do everything himself. Who in their right mind would get involved with such a mess.
The definition of insanity ' doing exactly the same over and over again, but expecting a different outcome', sound familiar.

Apparently we have little or no scouting network as well
