What's beyond awful? And whatever the word is, why didn't you just use that?

Because I like the phrase "beyond awful".

Indeed, however even from early on I've been asking what he contributes beyond his goals. Now that his goals have dried up his contribution is now minimal.

That's 2 goals in 2 for the young Joe Thomson after his loan from Celtic to qots.

Looks like Hibs will win the league no bother now. All about the play offs for Utd

Joe Thomson looked good. A very good strike for his goal.

Think he's one of these boy's that's full of energy Ivan but not sure he's got enough quality on the ball etc

Thomson looked a good footballer whenever I seen him. Can certainly ping a ball the boy.

I doubt he'll make it with us but he'll go on to have a decent career somewhere.

Perfect start, something to build on however the referee and linesman proceeded to frustrate the hell out of us with letting QOTS off with fouls and giving endless offsides against us. As soon as they equalised it started looking a lot fairer....
What is not acceptable and has been going on for years is when QOTS took the lead every United player slumped and appeared to accept defeat was inevitable. Meek headers and pathetic challenges to win the ball, it is just not good enough! Somehow managed to steal a point.
Mentally weak, far too slow, one dimensional and again this has been the case for years.
Toshney is a clone of Dillon, plenty of effort but can't play football, his shape is all wrong and never a RB.
Dixon can GTF, he is a loser.
Murdoch offers nothing, Telfer much better so why has he been dropped?
Agree Fraser gets unfairly singled out for abuse but his tackling is pathetic.
We need pace and drive in the side and how long have we been saying that?!

I'm feeling a bit glass half empty just now, sounds like you might be also.

For the past couple of weeks I've been saying to the two guys I go to the match with that our dip in form has coincided with Telfer being dropped from the starting eleven. I think the partnership he had built up with Willo was one that really worked for us, and although it's maybe not the reason we're not winning games it definitely seemed strange to break up a winning team. That also goes for the back four, I have no idea why Robson was dropped but it's time for him to come back. As for RB, the sooner van der Struijk is fit again the better.

Maybe more practice playing the new formation might pay off, although like you I felt a bit sorry for Mikkelson and the lack of protection he got from the ref.

As for the abuse Fraser got, maybe it's a bit over the top but I think that the guys who are dishing it out are just fed up of him always pulling out of a challenge, never winning a header, always having to turn back into his left foot, always trying to beat three men instead of passing etc. He's a confidence player though, it might be better for him to have a couple of games off rather than enduring that. Who knows.

Onwards...

I don’t really follow lower league football but I always remember Queens of the Stoneage being good when I was young so United did really well to get a draw.

For the most part the United fans on Saturday were very quiet. Almost like they were singing songs for the deaf.

Oh. I thought he'd gone to Utd. Maybe I'm confusing him with someone else.
