Bale alone is what about a quarter of the sales figure for Spurs, similar for us and Suarez.

It says to me anyway that Spurs have spent well to build their best side in a good while using funds from sales, fair play to them.

My 1st thought is that Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea sell their best players (or too many players)

We've sold oscar, surplus, luiz(rubbish first time round) and don't know who else we've sold.

We've sold oscar, surplus, luiz(rubbish first time round) and don't know who else we've sold.

The too many players bit was directed at Chelsea, almost half that sum is made up from the sales of uiz, Oscar and Ramires who at the time were all surplus to requirements.

The rest of the money must be selling about 50 of our loan players for a few million each.

Net spend > Silverware

Spurs' stadium should be paid for now shouldn't it with the relative neutral spending over the past 5 years then?

I don't think Levy would be daft enough to pay for it before it's even built though he may be ring-fencing some of the recent profits.
