Knee, talk blx as per usual.

The club had invested a lot into Courtois , when he eventually came back from something like a four season loan, JM gave priority.

Cech was put out to dry at a time where his game was good as ever, thats the start of the issue.

Yes and of course if the club are saying were going with the younger player , of course Cech wanted out.

My point is Cech was not loosing his quality and for a player who had been so loyal , to trade him for another player who couldn't be counted on was wrong.

Its about loyalty Imo , please explain to me what was the problem with Cech ?

Sometimes you've got to be loyal and this saga Imo stinks and exposes , part of what at times is wrong at Cfc.

Skip I talk nothing but sense

My point is that the club were good to him to sell him to Arsenal as many clubs wouldn't do this, but cause Cech had been a valued member of the club for so long Roman sanctioned a move to Arsenal, a rival who needed a good keeper.

As for loyalty from the club I guess they looked at it and felt they had a good young keeper who was ready to step up to be the number 1, with this being the case then that leaves Cech sitting on the bench, he's too good a player to be number 2 so then wanted to leave.

Plenty of clubs wouldn't have sold him to a rival, so that was nice of chelsea to do so

So relax and debate, no need to insult, a game you won't win with me

Look its not about the club gave him his move, that is the very least they could do.

I believe the club should never had treated him in such a fashion .

Now you feel different , clearly Loyalty is not an important commodity, but hold on your a fckn Mickey mousers to whom has no boundaries

Please don't retort with some whiter than white garbage, we know your type,

Wasn't it you that made an article like this before? You claimed a club like Liverpool would never treat a goalkeeping legend the same way? I then pointed out we did EXACTLY the same when Clemence left and we replaced him with Bruce Grobs. You then said that it wasn't the same as Cech still had loads of good years left at the top level. I then explained that Clemence played another 150 plus games at the highest level. You then cried.
Seriously, give it up. Chelsea, for the benefit of the club decided that Courtouis was number 1 and Cech accepted that and chose to be number 1 elsewhere. His loyalty and status is the reason Chelsea allowed him move to Arsenal. He had earned that right.

I remember that. Went on a filtering spree afterwards.

Life ain't a fairy tale, you have to be cold blooded. It was a bad mistake which could have backfired worse than it did.

Yes , I am , look we gave a contract he is on something 150k per week, not moving his family shows this dirty little rat had no intention of honouring it.

I mean after three years you'd think he'd miss his family enough to want to live with them.

Don't you get it

Such a mess.

Your article is nonsense.

We sold Cech at the right time; ideally we wouldn't have wanted him going to Arsenal but given he is settled in London and wanted to go to a club which would compete at a top level it was the only possible move.

There are a number of top keepers we could at the very least enquire into. Oblak being the most obvious if Courtois is going that way.

How ungrateful is courtois though? Chelsea sold their legendary goalkeeper Petr Cech for him thinking that he would be a long term replacement and just two years later the priiick wants to furrrk off. If he didn't want to stay at Chelsea he should have made that clear and Chelsea probably would have kept Cech

Jack Butland?

Charlag, mate, if thats your opinion enjoy.

Personally, call me old fashioned but what have we gained by getting rid of Cech.

We strengthened Arsenal, Disrespected one of the clubs most important players , in a way that said , look you can help CFC win Three EPL titles , both European club trophies numerous domestic trophies and this will mean nothing because we will trade you if we get the an opportunity.

Why did we sell him at the right time?

Yes he was getting older , but he was at the top
of his game and in the top three keepers in the EPL.

And to you that nonsense

Chelsea will get a new manager buy some better players and they'll be back up the top again next season.

Then you'll be back to telling us how well run Chelsea are and how great they are like you were six months ago because you're fickle.
