Getting rid of humans > getting rid of any other species
---------------------------------------------------------------------

There are too many of us. 3-4 billion in a pandemic is the way to go. Something species specific.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah that would be good although nothing too painful obviously. Even 1b is too many humans IMO

It's harsh, but stopping aid to poverty stricken countries might help.

Haha, yes he will. The bigliest war ever. Even greater than the great war.

He's gonna make wars great again. And Mexico's gonna pay!

I wouldn't trust that idiot with a microwave meal, nevermind a nuke button.

50,000 children predicted to die because of Saudi Blockade, I love our allies.

I wonder if Trump or May will talk about this...

@Dave Thanks for the warm thoughts! Baseball was a blast this year, I think I lost 10 years of my life watching the damn World Series!

As for the Hurricane recovery, most of my properties have been paid by FEMA...which is a huge relief and took a lot of stress out. For the most part, I think the city has recovered for the most part. There hasn't been too many volunteering opportunities anymore.

As for the bird nest soup, I don't think I ever had that if it's that expensive. My relatives in Hong Kong are too environmentally conscious to be shelling out money for that kind of stuff. Those prices are absurd. I can't remember the imitation shark fin soup tasting like the actual one since I had it last time I was there.

The Chinese use some absurd stuff for medicines. I'm not surprised at all when you said it's used as an "anti-aging" soup.

@Baz

Went to an herbal shop in Chinatown and saw a Cobra being marinated in a jar. DaShit is that?!

Thanks for the kind words! Yeah, it was bad for about a month or so because of the build up in the dams, reservoirs, and rivers around us. I will try and post some pictures from the days I went to volunteer.

Man, the one thing that I was really proud of is the way our city just came together as a unit to rebuild everything. We are a pretty diverse city and when we got all that nonsense in the news about racial discrimination/segregation being prominent in America, well Houston definitely did not fit that bill. Everyone was equal, and it was beautiful to see a coming together like this. It gives me some faith in humanity

Freedom- Id like to hope that we'd come together like Houston did in the event of a similar disaster, but I'm not sure that people would to that extent, really restores some faith in humanity the example shown by the people over there

As for the cobra- I've seen stuff like that in the Far East. A liqueur with 5 dead snakes and a dead crow floating in it. Needless to say I had a shot or two, not bad. But yes very odd things our Far East cousins are into. !!

I wonder if those islamist states could behave?

This is 2017.

Blame the country and regime and ideology directly involved for once, rather than linking in Donald, May or Fox news, RT news etc.
