Enough of this arguing over two Utd players

I don't think either of my number 10s were great players, but tried to explain why I like them.
Eric was the catalyst that gave Fergie his first great team, and was a great player, but I'm trying to limit it to two per position.
At least I've not had much disagreement with the defence, so far.

Fair enough, 52. Glad your op went well.

You know it's a disappointment when a post on KFC gets more response than a post on Uniteds greatest ever players.
I really must try harder.

Kante, replacement heart valve and bypass. All good now.

Leicester needed a Kante replacement

Kante 1 season at Caen fc promoted
1 season at Leicester champions
1 season at Chelsea champions elect

Coincidence? No, great and underrated player.

Cheers Robb, I just might make the same number as the KFC article, pity I had to do most of the comments myself.

Not sure he's an underrated player. Most people rate him highly.

Why has no one mentioned ... ?

---------------Schmeichel-----------------
Nevillie-----Rio-----Vidic-----Irwin
-------------Edwards/Robson*-------------
--------Charlton-------Scholes-------------
--Best------------Law-----------Ronaldo--

*As someone mentioned earlier, it's difficult to gauge just how good Edwards was due to his lack of playing time so I think Robson probably deserves this spot.

This team in their prime would make a mockery of the current top 6 combined.

SmallingJones
My team is almost the same only I go for 4 4 2
Schmeichel
Nevilles Rio Jaap Irwin
Charlton Robbo
George Dennis RVN Ronaldo

Think of the players who didn't make it, there could be two other teams probably as good.

Schmeichel

Neville
Rio
Stam
Irwin

Keane
Robson
Charlton

Best
Ronaldo
Cantona

I disagree with the poster above - Cantona was more than just an iconic figure. I wouldn't have a major problem with replacing him with either Law or RVN though.

Haven't seen enough of Edwards to comment.

I wouldn't pick Rooney, Teddy or Mata so that debate is moot as far as I am concerned. Picking any one of those above Cantona is absurd to me!

A Mid Bobby Charlton reserve Scholes
------
Gasp!!!!!! How dare you put the God of football Paul Scholes as only a reserve! He should be the captain of this team as the greatest player ever to play football!

posted on 23/1/17

I agree Brightdave, I would have a peak Rooney above Mata and Teddy without doubt.

He was pretty much the best player I've had the privilege of watching week in, week out. If you're trying to be funny you're showing yourself up for your abject lack of understanding of the game.

Yeah Scholes was the best, not... Jeez, I dunno... CR7 maybe?
