Any good, in non VR?

I can't imagine It would have the same impact, but I'm sure many would enjoy it.

VR is one of those things you only truly get when you have tried it for yourself.

As good as alien isolation? Similar?

Never played alien Isolation, but I know people have found it scary, Resident Evil is very different (even from past Resident Evil)

I would imagine VR makes Resident Evil more scary than Alien Isolation, but Alien Isolation in VR would take horror to a whole different level again.

I might add, a lot of what makes VR is the immersion and the not knowing whats through the next door, or round the next corner.

If you have played the game normally the VR experience would lose some of it's impact, if yoiu dont know what to expect all, you know is you are literally in this crazy house with all sorts of crazy Zhit going on.

Yeah AI was bad enough on a normal TVs with the sound down low. I dread to think how bad it would be in VR. Didn't even see the alien for the first hour or two yet my nerves were shredded.

I didnt find alien isolation scary.
Played it on the hardest setting and found the alien to be very obviously programmed to do certain things and it became quite annoying / frustrating which overtook the fear.
I found the androids quite scary.

Dunno Greg, atmosphere wise it really nailed it. The level in the reactor was amazing too.

Love horror games and played loads, but usually I don't find them that bad, AI was pretty brutal admittedly. Dead space was probably my favourite, so I'm interested to see how this one does, sounds promising.

Would you be up for playing it in VR Baz?

10mins at a time I reckon

I love horror and I'm no wuss, but this game certainly tests that, being in the world is freaky and the thing that gets me most is the sounds.

I find myself looking round and questioning every sound I hear, at least I have a shotgun now

Just started playing, first re I've played since 4, which I'd class one of my fave. Games of all time.

Liking the setting, it does and doesn't feel like a resident evil game, combat a bit iffy at times...but impressed overall. Also Gotta a soft spot for that tune played in the save game areas.

Finished the game last night, good luck to anyone playing this game, especially in VR
