Roberto Carlos

Sergio Ramos.

Pony defender with plenty of mistakes in him..but scores goals.

Roberto Carlos is a fantastic shout, good attacking and quick as anything.

Marcelo is about a million times better though.

Don't agree with some of the OP ones either tbh.

But Roberto Carlos gets talked about when discussing the best LBs, and there is no chance he would be mentioned without that FK.

But, depends what you mean by legend. Top top players, or legends for whatever reason.

Do you realise what Cantona did for United?

Brazilian Ronaldo – Fat, slow, weak shot. Too scared to try his hand in the best league in the world. Should not even be considered in the same sentence as those who actually did it in a proper league like Andy Cole, Sheringham, Solskjaer. The bloke was a fraud but just because he had the same name as Cristiano, he was bigged up to be world class.

Ledley King too, would've been the best ever CB if it weren't for injuries...

This article is a proof that you are spending too much time on the Arsenal thread (i.e. too much time talking to Pete.)

Ledley King is a good shout, he was pretty good for us, and his performances were impressive considering. Still wasn't a patch on John Terry though.

Does depend on your interpretation of the word Legend.

Carragher would be a legend to Liverpool fans, but most wouldn't say he's up there with the best CBs, despite being very very good.

Cantona is without doubt a United legend, he was so important for us as a club at that time. No one has claimed he's better than Best, Pele or Maradonna though, but he's still a legend.

Cantona looks good in a youtube montage, and in post-match interviews I will give him that.

Ozil is about infinity times the player Eric was, and everyone cries at how lazy Mesut is.

Doesn't matter. He is THAT contagious.

If we are talking club legends for us it's Klinsmann.

Played a season then facked off then came back at end of his career

Too subjective for me this... I'm out.

They are all hugely overrated though.

Ozil>Cantona

Ronaldinho>GOAT Zidane

Courtious, Lloris, DDG>Kahn

Lukaku>Baggio

Coutinho>Riquelme

TBH

Stopped reading at "Cantona" tbh. You're joking right?

Did you even see him play and the impact he had on United in his peak?

Petr Cech

The OP wasn't even old enough to watch any of those players in their peak so this article is total BS.

Dennis Bergkamp, scored a couple of decent goals and was elevated to god staus. No better than David Dunn tbh, dopped a lot for those tough away champs league games too, Wenger obviously didn't think much of him either.
