I haven't read all the replies. However, surely we don't want him to go this month? We are still in 3 cup comps & in the mix for a top 4 finish. The squad will be stretched as it is.

I seem to remember in that rooney documentary that most of his family still live in ex-council houses in Toxteth? That suggests a family that wont be flying out to China anytime Rooney is missing his family.

The reason I mentioned it was because several people have said that, with such money, he could easily fly his friends and family out whenever he wanted, as part of the bubble he could create. That might not be so simple with a family that are clearly settled in life and don't seem to care much about the trappings of fame and fortune.

I thought that I had read something a few weeks back about Jose considering recalling him, which is why I asked. Got to say that i liked the look of him and would be happy to see Rooney leave to make room for him.
