Anyone trying to ignore his good form last season or at the start of this are blatantly lying to themselves and is a bit of a pr!ck. He's not Neymar or Hazard clearly but he does add something to the team.

Two League Cups since we last won a 'proper' trophy in 1991 is inexcusable, considering in that time we've had two excellent teams (2010/11 and 2015/16) and a string of average teams better than some who have won trophies in the interim (e.g. FA Cup: Wigan, Portsmouth & UEFA Cup: Shakhtar, Zenit, CSKA)

& faakin Birmingham, Boro, Blackburn, Leicester in the League Cup

The only reason we are further away from top now is because of Chelsea's form improving. Our points per game is better without him, so this stat is meaningless.

basically I don't believe a word poch says regarding any injuries, therefore just assume the worst

There were alot of goals over the pass season where Lamelas press caused errors directly leading to goals in favour of us.
People see the assister and goal scorer but fail to see his contribution.

Yep. I tend to ignore his injury updates. For example Danny "on course" Rose is apparently due back around the end of March

We've missed him as another option to use but we're not exactly talking about a game changer. We still didn't beat WBA and Bournemouth back when he was playing.

Imag How long it will take him to get back in form and fitness after this long out!?!?
