It's about time they presented International Men's Day.

I see the BBC is even more right on today than usual, handing over the editorial reins to a woman footballer, a couple of articles on (coaching) jobs not going to women etc.
It is so boring, but as I said on another thread recently when you have almost no top level sport to show you only have two ways to fill space, a) show rubbish sport - including the shebelieves cup, or an "amazing" table tennis shot, a single touchdown ("did you see that?!", and b) narratives - arsenal in crisis, arsenal not in crisis, the rising cost of watching sport, too much racism/homophobia/sexism in sport etc etc.
a hell of a lot of people on the payroll considering how little sport they actually show, and slowly turning into an unhealthy combination of yahoo sports and youtube.
and as for the original point - which did make me chuckle - i couldn't believe that was actually a proper, international tournament, rather than a primary school "let's have the girls play football for a day" game.
Ji,
If you think that's bad, have a read of this:
https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2017/mar/07/melbourne-trials-female-figures-on-pedestrian-crossings-to-reduce-unconscious-bias
It's ridiculous. I saw the subversive BBC analysis of roles on the board and how they are shared by men and women. Under the header the bad they showed all those boards where women make up less than 30% then under the heading good they showed netball with 90% women. So it's not 50 50 that's good but a pro female sexist amount.
It's laughable especially when you think the BBC is made up of a bunch of winging left wing minorities. Except it's not laughable as they continuously ignore mens issues. Highest rates of suicide, highest rates of depression and anxiety, highest victims of crime, highest amount in prison, continuously underperforming against girls at every level of education etc etc. But those dungaree lesbian at the BBC couldn't care less
it gets better
