It'll most likely be nip and tuck tomorrow, but I just wonder if what has happened at this year's WCs, whatever the result, could Selby and Ding be just emerging above the others for maybe the next few seasons? Ding has shown a new level of form by beating an on-form Ronnie, if not at his best, (Ronnie's performance would have been good enough against most players) and also in this semi, and we know how good Selby is. The likes of Ronnie and Higgins will get more inconsistent, Trump is probably best of the rest but with questions to answer. Of the new breed, Kyren Wilson looks like he will step up, but could this be the start of a Ding-Selby rivalry at the top?
Potentially Yes, Judd needs to have another shot at this, his best year was 2015 when he lost 17-16 to Bingham..
Ding did great in the last 2 frames
game on tomorrow
I think Ding has shown what bottle he has. Losing a frame he should have won to be 12-10 down, then back-to-back centuries. He'll clinch a final place tomorrow, then win the final and make a record 20 centuries for the tournament.... You heard it here first
Brilliant from Ding those last 2 frames. He shown great character. This match is well and truly on. I really hope Ding can win. I'm so gutted to miss the final session tommorow due to work I'll be anxiously checking the scores after 2:30.
Still fancy Selby to grind his way to victory tomorrow
Ding showed a resilience that Selby has shown so often in matches. It could have been so different if he lost his belief after going 12-10 down and he could have been returning today 14-10 behind and virtually game over.
I still think Selby will grind it out, especially if it goes to a decider. Ding hasn't been in front for a while so he needs a good start this afternoon.
Hope you're all watching - not like there's any good football on today anyway!
The premier league big games are all over Sky tomorrow as usual.... I'm hoping the Leeds United finally succumb to the 7th place they richly deserve 😂😂
Let's all be talking about a Ding / Higgins-Hawkins final.
Really do think that Ding will do it. He's hung in there, taken everything that Selby has thrown at him and more than matched him. Selby will be wondering what he has to do to get rid of this guy, Ding will be growing in belief that he can nail Selby.
Think Higgins will maintain his lead for 14-10 going into this evening.
Hawkins needs to win the session to have any chance of winning
Apart from the semi he won, Hawkins has been well beaten in the other semis he's played at the Crucible. Could follow suit today as well.
Higgins in the balls on 50 and misses a black off the spot!
Almost suspiciously bad miss.

Think Higgins just took his eye off it thinking more about getting position, Hawkins hasn't been putting the cue through properly.
Hawkins misses a brown to the middle, 11-7 now you'd think
poor stuff isn't it lads? very weak standard for a crucible semi.
This is like watching two blokes down the pub hitting the ball about.

might go pour myself a drink and open some pork scratchings to make it more bearable
Selby or Ding will lift the trophy on this evidence
Top half of the draw contained better players
