isn't that a tiny bit rude for selby to go over and shake higgins' hand whilst he is in the middle of his break? i thought normally they waited for the player to finish, even when the frame is long since won.

Selby does show bad sportsmanship quite regularly though so that's no surprise at all.

Will be interesting to see how Selby reacts. I don't think he would underestimate Higgins (having lost a previous final to him) but maybe after the Ding match difficult to just be right on it again. He'll be focused for tonight, that's for certain, and Higgins needs to show that he can maintain this level of form.

I expect it could be a session of safety and grinding out frames from Selby. Higgins is more than capable of competing in a tactical battle though so be interesting to see how this final pans out. Nine to play, if Higgins can keep at least a three frame lead he will be happy.

higgins is giving away nearly 10 years and about 100lb in weight ...and yet he still plays faster than the jester

In fairness Higgins has made two century breaks so he's bound to have a shorter shot time average

higgins needs to play quickly, doesn't want to be waiting too long for his biscuit break
