I remember being on the old BBC and trying to post at 1 minute to 11pm, so that your comment sat there all night with no time for any comebacks

It was bollox though compared to here.

I remember old 606. It was a pain.

This is better.

Yeah, the closing at 11pm was a bollox ache.

Maf was on the old 606, think I estimated based on the average life expectancy of peasants from Bulgarian villages (even ones that get extracted to first world countries when 'the men' come), that he should be dead by now. The fact he is still alive is a real black mark against Ja.

i remember when they completely shut BBC606 down or when they only aloud BBC employees too right threds, or when they banned the whole "international board"

was grate
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aaaaaaah the International Board on BBC 606, had some great times on there

Good article summer

The "I don't remember you" approach from Poster's that you had previously had a massive tear-up with was trending at this time also.

This is pretty effective if used correctly

Tbf the wum wars we had with weare and co were a pretty good way to waste some time. They were entertaining a few years back. Now, not so much.

Morning chaps. I have just realised that I have missed some important Historical JA landmarks so I'll be correcting them now.

The old "First time poster, long time reader" one

The inevitable response of "Which returning banned user are you?" by all and sundry. Those 2 Old Chestnuts are going in. 2013 I reckon, coz by then we had about 27,000 members.

Also gonna add the "Sock Account" jibe which became popular about 2015.

Yeah the long time reader first time poster opening intro but you know exactly how to create an article, use smilies and call posters by nicknames.

Exactly Mr. C,

Millions of members but they can't all get to a Computer at any one time for some reason.

Who remembers the days of 'an shambles', 'rocket sconce' and 'optional added extras'.

Good times.

I think the day of the "Millionth comment thread" was the day I realised this place was full of daft kids

Remember when TCP forgot to log out of his sock account and replied to himself. Comedy gold - he went into hiding for days.
