Thoughts naturally with the family. However, admins must show consistency on these boards. Every right to create article on today's tragedy... however, if someone created muti articles on Syria / Palestine / African tragedies and blamed certain countries (certainly we UK have already admitted supplying weapons where Syria is concerned) and someone bashed our policy would it be seen it the same light? It should.

There is a sense of selective humanity in these situations - 33 innocent dead in Syria today. US and allies. Not a word on them however... cheap blood? Or we don't giv a shttt because it's not us ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Had a discussion with a friend about this. Unfortunately the value of a Syrian (non-Westerner, really) life is less than an American/Western European
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Absolutely. That's the sense most of my colleagues get too. Hypocritical at times.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Moron.

You're on a forum where the vast vast majority of users are based in Britain, when a violent incident happens in Britain, you use it for point scoring?

Jog on!!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Twwwat

What points have I scored or attempted to score? It's simple point I am making.. noob.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're being completely insensitive. Look at the url for this site, ja606.co.UK. The clue is right there, it's a UK based website with a vast majority of UK based posters which is why today's incident takes top billing.

You know this, you're just trying to be a Kant. Fack off somewhere else to spread your idiotic opinion.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Here we go, fakk off ".somewhere else"... what a cok

Not being insensitive at all. Did you read my first sentence of the original post? Course you did, but chose to ignore it. Prik

posted on 22/3/17

If you want to whine and moan about people on a British forum talking about a violent incident on British soil then do it somewhere else, it's not needed / wanted or adding any value here.

Some throwaway comment that you've made doesn't negate how you've decided to demean the whole incident. You're a joke.

Again, not understood or referred to my first sentence on original comment. Absolute fekkin moron. Learn to read son

I saw it, about as much conviction as me watching an England game.

posted on 22/3/17

So now your questioning conviction based on intent. Says it all. What a tool. Think you've answered and highlighted your own stupidity all in one.

Hey I'm not the one who chose today as a day to moan and whine about British people talking about an incident on British soil as if it's some kind of racial privilege.

51% of the country are racist don't forget, theres bound to be some of us on here

Afridi is right though. There can never really be peace in the world until all lives and people mean the same thing. The deaths and murders in Syria etc are connected to the deaths in other places. These incidents are connected by the terrorism link and will keep happening until the problem is solved, if ever.

It's unfortunate that a death has to happen close to home in order for some to pay the required attention when across the world people are dying and suffering because of many reasons including the actions over the years of countries like the UK and US.

Well said. Terrorism is a global problem and the sooner people realise that the sooner a better strategy can. E worked on to defeat it...

Calling me a moron and for me to be banned for making that point beggars belief and totally against one of our core "values" .... freedom of speech?

I'm sure this clown would write a thread for the Bali bombing victims 911 victims 7/7 victims Paris victims Belgium victims German victims nice victims and protest as vociferously as he would a Syrian or turkish and so forth.

It's a rule now he's written equal sympathy only or it's just not cricket.

These attacks aren't normal in Europe that's why there's more coverage, if it's all because of US/UK intervention then why are most of the attacks in the middle east against their own people and other Muslim people?! The phony wars have made it worse but that ideology has been around long before that.

Well said

The notion that it's simply in retaliation to western intervention is a myth. If the west moved out of the Middle East these attacjs would continue. Unfortunately it's simply to do with radical Islamic teaching that the west are infidrls and the enemy of Islam.
