Corners - Harry Kane

Would still go with Beckham for free kicks, Irwin for pens (so calm and cool), and Phil Jones for corners.

Leeds - Ian Harte. 85 goals in just over 500 games for all his clubs. Nearly all were free kicks and pens

Ronaldo took a pretty good freekick to be fair. But definitely between him and Beckham.

Penalties would be Ruud all day long.

I would wager a lot of money that Ronaldo has the lowest conversion rate of goals to free kicks since Roberto Carlos!

Yep 2in 88 attempts why bother

For penalties, a bloke I used to work with many years ago. He was a complete c**t but he could take a great penalty. We used to play matches at work a few times a year against other firms (properly organised at local non-league teams grounds with a qualified ref, etc) and he would always practice penalties in the warm up. I must have seen him take a couple of hundred. Every one right in the top corner within a foot or so of the corner, never missed.Shame he was a ft slow smoker who got carded more than Xhaka.

^I forgot to say he hammered them in as well, not some little well placed chip or such like.

In terms of a 'dead ball specialist' I've never seen anyone hit a dead ball harder than Alex at Chelsea.

You never seen Jorg Albertz take a free kick for Rangers then. His nickname was the Hammer in both Germany and Scotland.

I once saw him take a straight full force freekick at Ibrox - Rangers v Parma in a Champions league qualifier and Buffon put his two arms close to his chest to block it and Buffon ended up being smashed into the back of his own net with the force of it.

When Jimmy Greaves missed a penalty it was practically world news, I only saw that happen once

Sheedy for FK. The one he took twice in the cup against Ipswich was magic.

Baines for Penno's and a very close second for FK

Milner is a pretty great pen taker actually.

Usually hits the inside of the side netting with power.

Gerrard was good when older too so maybe something in letting experienced players take pens.

Free-kicks then Gerrard hit some great ones, and Murphy was good.

Penalties - Cantona
