I was at my local train station a couple of weeks ago and there were three English lads on the platform, which is rare around here, one sounded like a Manc and the others Cockneys but one of them looked and sounded freakishly like Harry Kane and just seein his face an hearing his voice started to wind me up ha ha
The Welsh man at Madrid is world class the last Leicester player who was world class was our Gary.
Comparing any footballer to Messi and saying if they are not as good as him they are not world class is well DDDD what word am i allowed to use hahaha
Marhez could walk into any team in Europe he wanted to imo. As for not being as improved as the others that have somehow found more energy from somewhere.

Mahrez couldn't walk into Bayern, Atletico, Juve, Dortmund, Monaco, Barca or Real, the current best teams in Europe. He's not good enough for any of those teams and you're deluded if you think he is. He's had one good season and isn't anywhere near good enough yet.

Not particularly wanting to interject in to another Nev/Arro squabble but I'm just curious as to what exactly is the definition of world class? It's a term that is cast about frequently but does it mean that the player would make a world 11, a world squad or one of the best teams in the world (if so how many of them are there)?
There are different numbers of spaces available for Mahrez to be considered world class depending on the answer.
BTW I think he's shown some aspects of world class in any definition, but not there yet. Possibly we won't know if he's good enough until he plays with more skilful players around him.
I've heard Gray might be going as well with a £12 million buy out clause a few other Premier League Clubs are interested?

I'm not looking to put him down I'm just being realistic whereas you're over bigging him up.
Half a season in the Championship, one poor season in the PL, followed by exceptional backed
up by poor to getting better. He's not performed consistently at the top level.
I also don't care about how many tackles he made in a game because it has no bearing on whether he's world class or not. He's not good enough to get into a top European club and he wouldn't get in a world XI or even world XXV because he's not world class.

Not bothered by Gray, I don't rate him that highly and I'm not sure you ever learn to find a final ball because it's usually something you either have or you don't. He's tricky and fast but very rarely does anythung come from his play, he just always flatters to deceive. He's s good sub but that's it and there are better than him around.
That said whoever agreed £12m needs their head examining.

I see Gray a bit like Lloyd Dyer, capable of the brilliant but mostly frustrating and my worry is he doesn't seem to have a football brain and you can't teach that. If he does manage to learn to look up and improve his decision making then he will turn out to be a great player and to lose him for £12m is a facking joke!
I want to see Benny in the team next season and by all account Wague played really well so why not him and Benny next season? I'd be well up for giving that a go, Wague looks like a beast and reports I've read about Mali he's a rock for them. Or even Amartey, no reason why we couldn't have a good partnership between those three.
Macia did recommend plenty of targets, Twatkin just failed to get them so lets hope we put some proper bids in that actually get accepted.
