Well atm is like this
1. Ronaldo
2. Messi
3. Neymar
4. Suarez
5. Griezman = Rooney
6. Bale.
7. Hazard
8. Sanches
9. Pobga = Fellaini
10. Mhiki
1) Rooney
2) Zlatan
3) Kante
Neymar has not surpassed either Ronaldo or Messi. Messi while past his very best is still the best in the world for me. Ronaldo is still a great goalscorer and Suarez is close to those two
Wouldn't have Sanchez in there, as good as he is.

Such aggression! Go knock one out you fan of an inferior club
Kante, Godin, Sergio Ramos, Neuer with possible mentions if you want to include non attacking players.

Think there is quite a big gap between Suarez, Messi, ronaldo, neymar and the rest.
Hazard, Lewandowski and Thiago have been veryy good this season.
Sanchez is a top player of course, at the wrong club though. But if you put somebody like Suarez, Neymar or Messi in their side they'd be doing a lot better.
Costacurta said the other day he thought Neymar has surpassed (the present day) Messi and Ronaldo.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Costacurta's wrong in that Neymar's only surpassed half of those players.

I dunno. Sanchez is a world class player who performs miracles most weeks.
Think you need to look up the world miracle
Sánchez has become seriously overhyped due to his playing well for an underperforming 'top' PL club.
He isn't even a 1 in 2 striker, who can do a wide range of things fairly well, chips in with plenty of huff and puff, but doesn't really excell in any of the finer arts departments a top or 'world class' attacking footballer ought to master - in my opinion.

Sanchez had a good World Cup in Brazil before coming to Arsenal.

Chile's achievements have been wonderful, but without wishing to taake away from Sánchez, I think trying to credit him too much would be to detract from a remarkable team effort. (His strike rate for them is fairly average too.)
I'm not saying he's a bad player, far from it Robb; just that imo being virtually the only shining light for Arsenal over the past couple of seasons has catapulted his reputation into a category it doesn't really belong.
Is this limited to attackers?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, but it's hard to gauge how non attackers fit in. For example I'd imagine Kante is more important to his side than Neymar is to his but imo Neymar is better.
Yes I agree. It's very difficult to gauge the 'best'. Currently I think Kante is the most influential player in the world, and would greatly improve any team. But there are players who have far more skill, and can score a goal to turn a match on its head.
So who is the best? Hard to say. Personally I go for Messi number 1,and after that am struggling.

His strike rate for Chile is exceptional. 36 goals in 105 caps for a player who usually plays on the wing or as a second-striker. I would imagine that ratio is comparable/better than the likes of Robben, Bale etc.
He's been the best all-round player in the PL since he arrived at Arsenal. Aguero, Kane may score more goals; Ozil, Silva may create more goals; but no one is the total offensive package that Sanchez is.
Don't forget that he retired Messi from interantional football (temporarily). He was also Barca's best La Liga player in 13-14.
Actually, Ozil was our best player last season, so Sanchez wasn't our only shining light.
