Heard Southampton just bid 10m

Scott brown is by far the best but Armstrong has come on well and is a great player to have as an option.

Surely we'll be dealing him in shortly. Contract is up end of next season. There will be plenty of admirers.

Great to see him fulfill his potential

He's impressed me greatly this year, ever since he came in against Rangers in the 5-1 game he's been exceptional.

The next step for him is to do it on a regular basis for Scotland and Celtic in Europe. Do that and he will undoubtedly be the best midfielder in Scotland.

Said years ago I thought he was a future scotland captain. Was gutted when you signed him and I'm more gutted he seems to have got over his complete failure of confidence

ghod

on armstrong, ability was never in question, only consistency and mentality.

wildly proven wrong on both tbh. a good man manager makes all the difference though.

Hard to argue with that Irvine; and long may it continue

A new long term deal is needed for him, a huge asset to Celtic and hopefully Scotland for many years to come!

As Ghod says when him and Rogic are both playing together again

we have missed rogic something awful btw.

also think erik and simunovic are a better pairing at the back. think we are preparing to sell Jozo btw.

I said when we signed him he was a future captain

He was the best midfielder in Scotland outside Celtic at the time.

Last season I said get him played in his position and he'll be great but all the neggy negheads said "no he is rubbish and too interested in studying to be any good. If he can't do it at left wing he'll never do it at in midfield"

Well boo to all of you. Thankfully he got past your vile hatred of him and allows you to now turn face and love him.

i'd rather we sold Erik than Jozo but Jozo is the better player so he'll probs be more in demand

Gordon
Gamboa
Simunovic
Boyata
Tierney
Brown
Armstrong
Roberts
Rogic
Sinclair
Dembele

Would love to see that team for the semi

i thought he could be another lambert at first.

last season his head was up his backside.

on the law degree part. never going to agree with that sorry. i work a normal job and study part time and its stressful. Reports due in, making sure your up to date etc. its murder and its at the back of your head constantly.

football first, clear mind and when you are done you can focus on law.

Rogic was well on the way to being POTY imo.

griffiths needs more game time btw.

Murnetti you have always been behind him to be fair

I think everyone could see his technique , it was his attitude and belief that heldf him back ( and maybe playing left wing)

He would shirk tackles and look to avoid getting on the ball , yet now hes snarlingabout the pitch and always looking for it

He has started to believe in himself , which is credit to him firstly but also to the celtic coaching staff

mental how sometimes players just fall to bits.

even played out of position they cant manage a 5 yard pass.

he's really won me over Armstrong, I was one of his biggest critics but he's turned it round and only looks like hes getting better

Hopefully have that big beautiful maestro Rogic back at least the week before the semi final. Can't see him starting the game due to being out so long and the tempo will be mental but will be a key sub. If he's not starting then it has to be McGregor instead of Bitton. Don't think Eboue is ready for it

his energy and movement are everything btw.

on a side note, i read an interview with deila and one sentence summed him right up.

talking about how johansen had to fill in as a no.10 and did alright even though it wasnt his natural position.

wit? that was his best position ffs if he seriously thought johansen was best as a CM then he's a moron.

Eboue will be a work in progress until the summer but there will be a lot of pressure on him next season.

He's been signed for over £2 million at 19 so we will expect to see him dominate games.
