The upcoming summer...worse than 2011?

Wahl is forgetting that the players have practically given up. Bellerin for example seems to have lost 2 yards of pace in the space of a few months, just terrible. Kos looks like a pub player, Coq is awful etc.

Maybe. I mean I'm not an Arsenal fan so you probably know more than me, but from my point of view its just another classic Arsenal collapse before they rally. It may be one of the worst collapses but yeah, I've seen this before with Arsenal and I still would back them to make top 4.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

What usually happens when top 4 is under threat (which isn't actually that often) is we get our pants pulled down in the first leg of the last 16 CL tie, we win the 2nd leg and use it to boost momentum.

This time we got destroyed in both legs and the players looked like they'd given up at times. Combine that with fixtures we always struggle in and unhappy players and it's looking high unlikely.

No wum but coq was meant to be a revelation. Was that you guys overrating him or he's just turned crap now?

Both, some were overrating because he was a much better DM than any of the rubbish we had before him, but he's been a very solid player. This season though he's been dreadful, looks lost without Cazorla.

I've said it for so long. Arsene is a like a father to these players. He protects him.. They don't give a sht because Arsene has their back. New contracts for all of them even after years of nothing. It's like the players, manager and the board are just take a pïșs right on all of your faces and pointing and laughing at the same time too. A bit graphic apologies.

To be fair to Bellerin, he's playing with an ankle injury, and there's rumours he needs surgery on it in the summer.

Kebab dude you looked pretty bad in the second half of 2014 as well for example when you got thrashed by us and Liverpool.

You guys may be right, but I can easily see Wenger pulling top 4 off again. I'm not writing Arsenal off yet.

Defensively, he was up there with the best in the league. He provided some serious protection to our back 4. His first time passes aren't bad either.

Wenger has changed his role this year. He wants him to press higher up and win the ball in opposition areas. Now he and the rest of the midfield look like they haven't got a clue what to do.

Yeah, but top 4 wasn't under threat that year. It is this year, and the players look like they've given up.

You'll be fine. Just sack Wenger and spend a wad of cash like its going out of style.

I dunno, it wasn't looking good at one stage after Everton thrashed you.

But doesn't seem quite like this.

True, they were one point off us at that stage. But our run in was west ham, Newcastle, hull, Norwich etc.

And not to.be disrespectful, but our challengers were a Roberto Martinez led Everton, and a Tim Sherwood led spurs. I knew we'd be fine.

You have momentum and only league games to think about though. We still have a lot of tough fixtures.

I'd honestly be surprised if we made top 4. I don't think the players care about it anymore.

The fa cup will show what's what

posted on 28/3/17

Yeah that's fair, Tu Meke. Things are looking ominous this season. I thought you'd do your thing and ger top four but recently things have started to change my mind. I think the City game could either be a turning point for you or a proverbial nail.

Anything other than a win against City, and it's pretty much confirmed for me that we won't get top 4, Darren.

posted on 28/3/17

Yeah seems about right. Even with enough ganes to go for you to get back in I just don't think the players will be able to lift themselves up and put un the run needed.

Arsenal will finish 4th this season after Liverpool collapse, Wenger will stay, Alexis will join Man City or someone, Arsenal will finish 4th next season...

It's all totally predictable.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear God i hope you're right about us finishing 4th this season.
