I think our standard of 4th choice CB is quite decent thanks.
We wouldn't take any of your CB's other than Bailly, what does that say about the standard of Manchester United..
His performance levels dipped massively after 2008 when he had malaria (unsurprisingly). Think he may have even contracted it again later on.
Great player for a time though.

We wouldn't take any of your CB's other than Bailly, what does that say about the standard of Manchester United..

The likes of Smalling and Jones would look world class in the SPL. Somebody who couldn't make Aston Villa's first team is currently tearing the league apart
Smalling doesn't make all the mistakes he does because of the opposition, it's because he's as intelligent as a pineapple. Jones could be alright if he ever stayed fit. Still wouldn't take either of them over our first choice 2 though, or any of your 43 left backs for that matter.

Ah right, it sounds pretty savage either way! I remember it being mentioned he had malaria during his time at Arsenal and then later at Liverpool so sounds like it came back if that's the case.

To be fair at his age not bad picking up free trophies. Playing at 10% the level he was at Arsenal and still winning the league easily in a pub league. Anyone else would love an early retirement.
