Bloody Brexit.

Although in no way condoning it but football is tribal despite what the gentrification processing committee have attempted to do to it and when certain types get a few beers down them in a foreign land they make fools of themselves. Better to just laugh at it,no punches were thrown, shops ransacked, innocents caught up in a riot was there, just some not handling the juice too well and resorting to the lowest common denominator as they are not likely to start of with a taunt about Gainsborough being better than Picasso.

Fk Spain, Gibraltar is ours well done Leicester

If the Spanish police charged at Leicester fans with batons for chanting "Gibraltar is ours", I would put it to anyone that the former is in the wrong.

"Please can you keep these idiots at home next time..."

Ok, will do. Apologies about that.

The UK media hysteria over Gibraltar has been nothing short of pathetic. Which in turn has fueled this sovereignty dispute.

Sabre rattling from Michael Howard was also as pathetic.

Like any regional area (remember Wallonia) Gibraltar have a right of veto over any future trade deal with the EU27. Which was set out in the EU27's Brexit position.

Can only imagine how folk will react when Argentina raise the Falklands dispute when the UK submits trading schedules (to WTO) for ratification

The Police did not charge because of the singing. lighting flares and throwing bottles and them at the police made them charge. So of the idiots in our fan base think they are entitled to say what they want and do as they like. Then throw their hands up and cry victim.
I hope the perpetrators got a few bruises and learn't a lesson they don't represent me or my club and they aren't the baby squad anymore.

Not sure about Picasso but Gainsborough is definitely better than Louth ......... not as nice as Lincoln though.

We should all also take into account that the OP is an unbelivably bitter and jealous person who has had to watch us win the Premier League and progress in the Champions League while his own two bob tin pot no-mark second rate team slide down the Championship into oblivion.

They were singing about german bombers the day after a german football teams bus was bombed.

Also what was the point singing about the world war in Spain. Are they that thick they thought they were in Germany?

Uefa should hire the russians to beat the crap out of these morons

posted on 13/4/17

Yeah I did cringe when I saw the video of our fans singing that.

Young kids in the sunshine drinking beer and enjoying their big day out. Embarrassing for them as much as anyone else, but the vasy majority of City fans behaved superbly, as confirmed by several journalists who were out there covering the match.

I suspect some bitter people are just using this as another stick to beat LCFC with after Ranieri left.

They should be banned from Europe. Thankfully, Leicester are going out and will never again darken any of our neighbours' doors. Give it ten years and they will go bust.

Whilst Claudio relaxes in his £10m Italian villa, those who put the knife in him will be drinking Frosty Jack down the canal, dribbling incoherently about their glory days.

And here's another bitter Yam Yam who's team are rotting away in mid-table Championship obscurity with dim and distant memories of the succesful times.

It's lucky you've got WBA in your neck of the woods otherwise the whole of the West Mids would be an absolute laughing stock - in football I mean. They already are generally.

Can anyone confirm if the perpetrators had tickets.
If so they should be band from future euro games.
When I am able to get a ticket for away matches all I see is well behaved fans
The priority system generally works well so what's gone on here.
I couldn't get a ticket.
I've always found the beer in Spain mainly very plain.

posted on 13/4/17

A lot of fans in the square didn't as I understand it, Hairy.
And there were quite a lot of fans who went over there with the hope of landing a ticket in the home end.

posted on 13/4/17

There were thousands who went over without tickets by all accounts - although I'm not sure this necessarily means they caused trouble.

But yes, anyone who caused problems should be punished in accordance with the relevant judicial system.

It's scary that there are still people in the 21st century who believe giving them 'a slap' or 'clip around the head' is okay from police officials - irrelevant of the crime, it goes against the whole structure of policing and social democracy.

Thanks Dunge I guess there's not a lot that can be done.
Pity really Our little club takes 2 steps forward, in terms of football credibility and one back, time after time again.

They are the footballing equivalent of Sigue Sigue Sputnik, true one-hit wonders nearing the end of thier fifteen minutes!
What they don't realise is once the monks at the Wat (temple) tell their Thai owners they think tin-pot Liecester is bringing them bad Karma and they should focus on selling more duty free at Suvarnabhumi Airport instead, they will be dropped like a Lisu/Acka/Karen hilltribe stepchild and it will be as you were with obscurity beckoning once again!
