Sorry for the late reply. I enjoyed it a lot - maybe not as much as you reading back through the comments
It was a great experience though, didn't take too long to figure out the rules and once the rain stopped and people stopped dropping the ball so much it was a really fun game to watch. I don't have any other game to compare it to but it seemed very entertaining to me and both sides put on a good show.
It was strange cos Essendon always seemed in control, but there were a few times when Cwood were on top and their kicking let them down - wonder if Essedon would have still been able to take back control if they'd have scored a couple of them, or if Cwood would have taken the momentum.
Fantastic stadium - so easy to get in, get food drinks & seated considering the sheer volume of people in there. Train station a bit heavy after but we're only in South Yarra so walked back. Great crowd too, everyone having a good time.
I'll defo be back to the MCG for more.
Dodgiest place you'd go on holiday too
