Crossing, shooting and passing are also basic attritbutes a professional should have to some standard to be able to be coached. His are facking atrocious, Barca having been coaching him for years and he's not developed these basic skills. This is why he plays for Boro, and is still shiiiiiit for them.

Said it earlier, he is seriously good up until the penalty area. Sheer quality dribbling, carrying the ball, unreal pace and acceleration.
End product? Let's not go there.
Shame, if he could add at least some quality in that area he could be one of the best players in the league imo.
All this he can be coached to do x , y etc, shouldn't he already be able to control a ball, put a cross in , he's not 10.

Well, Henry was cast aside..look what happened to him. Same could be said of the likes of KDB and Lukaku; if u go back then they were light years away from where they are now. Yes Lukaku scored goals but his overall game has improved massively, KDB has gone from strength to strength after Maureen didnt go all out to keep him.
Players do and have improved after looking sht..look at Forlan at Utd and even Veron, a change can massively help a player.

no, but to think the answer to his obvious failings is to stick him in with firms, couts, lalls and mane, coupled with the kloppster is a bit rich wouldn't you say?
In a better attacking team he may have more options for setting up players. But his passing and crossing just look so laughably bad that I'd be surprised if it made that much of a difference.
His dribbling is brilliant, though. Must have frustrated the hell out of the Barca coaches looking at how shiiiiit the rest of his game is as the way he runs with the ball is up there with some of the top players in world football.
He's probably the best dribbler in the league along with Hazard. But he's definitely has the worst end product in the league.
Traore is terrible. He's a fantastic athlete. Probably the best raw athletic attributes in the league. He's incredibly explosive, but he's also strong and balanced. The guy's composure on the ball and decision making and execution is facking abysmal. Not even Championship level. The guy just can't do anything productive with the ball.

Bobby...well it cant hurt can it? I find in life if you want to improve you train/learn from better people and you become better.
He can be really brilliant when dribbling though. Our earlier fixture with Boro this season, he absolutely terrorized our left flank. Our players were either getting left eating his dust or they simply bounced off him.
He's only 21 so there's a slim hope he can improve but he's shown NO signs that he will. He should be a wing back/full back.

Can he defend, though? I've not seen much to suggest he'll be a wing back/full back. Just looks completely brainless.

Would rather watch good athletes with raw ability than some slow, 'hardman' who relies on cynical fouls and tough tackling. Nothing wrong with being an athlete if it works...
