Zlatan injury a blessing in disguise

Agreed. Just like whoever was injured when Rash was called up under LVG

posted on 21/4/17

i said earlier it may be a blessing, as long as there are no further injuries...rashford at 9 = martial on the left, if either of those go you're left with rooney/martial at 9 and/or young on the left.

ditto in defence actually, we're one more injury away from real problems.

Total blessing, Utd have had a right touch here. Milked him for plenty of goals and now you a great excuse to bin him off without having to fork out on his obscene wages for another year. Would've been better had it happened on the last day of the season (but before he signed an extension), but 6 games out isn't bad.

My thoughts exactly.

When a player who's scored 20 plus goals for us this season and is ruled out for the rest of the campaign through injury then you'd have to question the sanity of our fanbase if they regard this as some sort of 'blessing'.

It's not a blessing.

Its ridiculous.

Some people have very short memories. Or they're just ungrateful twąts. One or the other.... Probably both.

28 goals later, 2 winning goals at Wembley and here we are. Wishing he's done so you can rely on a 19 year old to lead the line next season. Absolute state of it.

Only 17 goals in the league. Considering how many chances he has had, he has one of the worst conversion ratios.

Imagine now Chicharito with his agility and that kind of service. Not a blessing in disguise but he is easily replaceable next season.

Next season can take care of itself. There are still big games to play this season where Ibra's influence most likely would've had a strong impact. Now we're relying on ,not particularly Rashford because he's done well recently, others to really raise their games.

Of course it's a blessing - he's washed up. You've eeked a good season out of him, bit like a Bulgarian peasant woman making elephant shapes from bits of banana, but now he's done and you've been gifted an opportunity to fack him off no questions asked, instead of being lumbered with him and his wages for another year while your young players careers go down the Gary Glitter. Not like he's gonna starve to death just coz he's out of contract is it? Bollox to him that's what I say.

I have read a lot of Sheite on this site, mainly from the creator of this article but this comment really does take the biscuit

This .

I would prefer to play with a target man and someone who holds the ball up . Zlatan is technically great too and can score a goal out of nothing.

Rashford is like a headless chicken at times and very wasteful.

Ace's initial comment was spot on but the one he made after that was a bit suspect. Zlatan would still bag a bunch of goals next season albeit at the expense of a few other players development I think is what he's trying to say.. I think

Its only a blessing because our manager deemed him unbencheable. I hate to have to imagine Ibra lead our line another year. He would have made a good change of pace striker.

That being said, he could not keep up with the pace of play of lingard, rashford and myki. Only started getting chances when we slowed our approach and started lobbing in balls to him and fellaini. This was always going to be problem with him.

Sometimes managers are forced by fate to do the right thing.

I blame Blanc for overplaying him last season.

José is left with a tough choice to make now. Use Rashford, redeploy Jones at CF or risk bringing up a complete unknown from the academy.
