First ever visit to OT was the 5-0 derby win in '94 ... doesn't get better than that ... think on my next visit we lost to Forest!

Pretty sure we still have that 5-0 on video with NEVER RUB OFF written on it.

End of 91 season. 1-0 to Utd at OT - Giggs the scorer.

Been to much better (and worse ones) though

Best would have to be the 5-0 with Kanchelskis hat trick. Worst is fairly obvious, the 1-6. I stayed till the 5th and then left sharpish.

Not a game i fear or dread tbh. It's a big game obviously but i don't feel like the world has ended if we lose to them. I'm obviously miffed and would rather us win but losing to the dippers has always cut me deeper. Always will too. They are our main rival.

Sure that isn't what your mrs wrote on your stash of dirty videos when she found them?

It's the first time in 4 years that the game has genuine importance for City. Looking forward to it.

Looking forward to a late United winner a la Scholes or Van Persie.

I'd probably settle for a comfortable 3-0 win though if you offered it to me.

I'd settle for 1-0.

4th double in 6 years will help soothe the pain of this season.

You're not the first fixture i look for. Only 2nd. Every June i ask 'when do we play the dippers" City are an after thought. You're not out biggest rivals. That's how insignificant you've been for so long. You are our Atletico to our Real or our Espanol to our Barcelona. We don't like you but we have a bigger game than against you. You lot don't have a bigger than us. And it kills you inside to know it.

You keep telling us we aren't the one you look for over and over again.

You protesteth too much.

Personally I look for Liverpool away Spurs away and Chelsea away first they are the games we have real trouble with the most

Boris your side only done 2 doubles in last 6 years so so max is 3 tonight in 6 years.

Boris lol why is it first time in 4 years that it has importance. Man City last 2 seasons relied on us bottling the end to finish above us. We won the last derby last 2 seasons.

Hafi, we have been more or less assured of a top 4 finish before the final Derby since the game you beat us, thanks to Nasri's OG, when we were still in for the title.

United are Sean Tully to our Tom Hardy.

A Vinnie Kompany header will do me and a 1.0 victory like a couple or so years ago.

I can't see us not conceding though so our forward players need their shooting boots on and possibly a bit better fortune.

are you trying to convince us or yourself?

I await Eric's forthcoming book:

"Why City Mean Nothing To Me"

- a 480 page tome.

Eric will be at Waterstones, Oxford St on Saturday to sign copies of this modern classic.

Last day of season 2014 speaks for itself. There wasn't a red alive cheering for Liverpool.

You arent even our biggest game. Never will be.

For me it was the 1990/1991 1 nil win over City with a young man scoring the winning goal and going on to be arguably the greatest ever Utd player, the legendary Ryan Giggs

He probably longs for those days, a simpler time where Christmas dinners weren't quite so awkward.

Most Christmas Dinners are awkward amongst the crossdressing community.

We obviously move in different circles as all the rags I know were praying for Liverpool that day.

Stretty lives in worsley doesn't he. I'm sure Bolton was the first fixture he looked for prior to their relegation.
