Jesus did more in his few games than Pogba has
----------------------------------------------------------------------

----------------------------------------------------------------------
He had a huge impact in them games though, I would argue he did more to improve the City side than Pogba has united, happy to hear a counter argument.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you are talking about the average level of his contributions over his handful of games versus Pogba's season's worth, you have a strong argument.

It seemed to me however you were suggesting that Jesus contributed net in those few games more than Pogba has in his fifty or so. Which would clearly be nonsense.

Pogba has 4 goals and 3 assists in 28 starts

Jesus has 3 goals and 1 assist in 3 starts

Zlatan has 28 goals.

De Gea has none.

That means De Gea is chit.

Matt le Tissier is a broke drunk. Don't think his opinion is any more valid than any fella down the pub.

Jesus's all round game wasn't that impressive when I saw him. He may develop into a great player but City are by no means better off with him over Aguero at this moment in time.

I could easily say

Pogba's all round game wasn't that impressive when I saw him. He may develop into a great player but United are by no means better off with him over Carrick at this moment in time.

Him and Carrick aren't fighting for the one position though

Semantics, you get my point.

Pogba created bags loads of chances and not just half chances as well, he literally puts it on plate.

His impact would be that of an 90 million player if our forwards stopped missing sitters.

Pogba is a hit, the way he created the Martials chance which led to Rooneys goal illustrates how unique he is in his ability within the context of the squad.

If's and buts, if we could defend in 2014 we'd have won the league etc.

Nah good old Stevie would have found a way to mess it up.

has any player hit the woodwork more times than Pogba this season?

He has missed more than his fair share of chances himself this season but he has also been unlucky in front of goal at times imo.

This is quite possibly your most stupid comment yet. Among many.

I think he can become a 15-20 goal a season player definitely

It's a bit stupid only having 'hit' and 'miss' options. Too black and white to show any real insight.

Le Tissier has those ratings about right, although I do agree it's a bit too short a time to give Jesus a hit rating but the signs do look good.

Onto Pogba, he's been a major disappointment and as a City supporter I'm a bit put out that he is actually injured for the derby, you could actually be more of a threat without him.

That's your view, mine is different.

I actually don't get the genuine hate for Pogba from opposition fans. I can understand it for guys like Suarez, Ronaldo, Costa, Terry but Pogba isn't like any of them.

He isn't nasty, doesn't play act and doesn't really dive either to be fair.

I suppose it's because he's the world record transfer and plays for United.

posted on 26/4/17

I don't hate him in the slightest, he's a bit of a buffoon but I certainly don't hate him.

My issue with him is that he's not really that good.

....................

I don't really see any hate, just pee taking because he has been a big disappointment.

What I don't get is this blinkered view from our own fans that he has been good for us.

He has't. He has had a handful of good games, a handful of poor games and the rest he has been average.

If we only paid 30m for Pogba, I would still say he has been poor. Pogba has had a disaapoibting season, his explanation the other day comparing himself to Kante was laughable. Yes, he has created plenty which our forwards have missed. At the same time, he was bullied when spurs faced us, Guye from Everton bullied him, I have not seen him control one big game. Position wise the lad looks lost. He is not a good dribbler in my eyes, as he 9 times out of 10 always loses possession.

Pogba undoubtedly a miss. Most expensive player in the world, not worth it and not living up to anywhere near the expectations, although there are signs he is improving. Ability to affect big games in question, his best games have come against poor teams, also seen with a very talented France team in the euros. People can argue all sorts about his fee, but the fact is he's the most expensive player on a colossal salary, and looks like a talented but inconsistent player worth about a 3rd of that.,

Stones definite miss too. What possessed city to fork out 50m for him, we'll never know.

Agree with most of the rest though.

Hard to deny that Pogba has got a lot to do.

When you take his price tag into consideration, I think you would have to say he's been more of a miss than a hit, if those are your only two options.

We've got opposition fans saying they're disappointed he won't be playing against them. That speaks volumes. Hopefully next season he'll come good but it's been frustrating watching him so far.
