That looks much better if we could score another I would be confident of finishing the job.
today is a good day for Pasty's feast
Just seen from Facebook that Klasnic is at the game. Looks in good spirits all things considered. He'd have been proud of the poaching instincts Wheater showed there.
Peterborough used all three subs now.
LE FONDRE!!!! 3-0!! We're going up!!!
That's it. It's all over but the shouting.
Championship here we come. A great win with no drama.
Congratulations to all the players and staff at the club. I hope we can at least hold our own next season.
hindwirralterrier, Thank you for your kind thoughts
Parky gets showered with beer in the changing room on sky tv,some great scenes
It's a great day to be a Wanderer even if you get soaked to the skin with cold beer.
I see alack of posts on here. Everyone will be in the pubs getting a skin full. I'm here in Lancaster looking after our two youngest grandchildren as our son and his better half are at the Trafford center choosing a new suite. Such is life.
Simply amazing. Family affair as ken pat and little lee joined the lap of honour. We are back.
The grin won't leave my face for a few days yet, particularly as my boss is a Posh fan!
Hopefully pasty will report back from the player of year do. Presume he's there from his very cryptic posts.
Well done on your deserved win. Pity we didn't make a better game of it by scoring a goal or two. We treated the game as a stroll in the park and paid for our lack of ambition.
We're in desperate need of a multi-goalscorer. I'd like to see free agent (from MK Dons) Dean Bowditch replace Tom Nicols, but I doubt if we'd meet his aspirations or likely wage demands.
We are in a similar position regarding wage demands. We're still plotless despite having a promise of £5 million from TV rights. Ken needs to get some new investment into the club. Maybe then we will be able to pay off blue marble and the tax man.
We had a secret ingredient yesterday more of that after the football I’m relieved not a sign of Mr Jinx anywhere but plenty of whites who had travelled from afar no worries this morning just a very sore head when did a home match become a more than twelve hour affair. The football it’s a very good standard perhaps it’s a good job so many will be leaving us in the summer as for PP getting that right or still being here we shall have to wait and see but from yesterday the obvious stand out was why have we not seen more of Karacan he was most excellent settling the visible nerves before half time poor Alf is in desperate need of a deluxe Spin Dryer alongside him rather than a washing machine Alf’s running off the ball is clever but wasted he is desperate for something better alongside him.
The secret ingredient that was very special all day at half time you will have seen Ivan do the Golden Gamble what you may not have seen was the respect hugs and care shown by the senior player as Ivan was leaving the pitch as soon as people like Wheater and the old hands saw him smiling they stopped went over to shake his hand then hugged him as Ivan said something to each of them followed by big smiles and then the goals and better play finishing off job. After I met the usual SKD was his normal self Wheater is a star on and off the pitch a really top player and professional but nothing compares to Ivan Klasnic what a man I am so privileged.
So in summary meeting Ivan was the best thing I doubt anything could top that on this trip to blighty making the journey worthwhile Wheater is a top bloke and we are up we won Chairman Ken might get some money off me yet for next season. Am I allowed to come back for a visit again next season? I’ll try and arrange a goal feast if you let me come.
A very long day. Ended up in westhaughton of all places. Not been able to function till about now. Bad head and chest a mixture of too many orange juices and not being well in general since Thursday. Looking at the starting line up yesterday only 3 players are under contract for next season. Suspect spearing, madine and dervite will be gone. Must sign wheater up at all costs. Hopefully morris, Taylor and Alf too. Can't see anyone else being retained so a big rebuild required in the summer which will probably eclipse last summer. Already linked with Aberdeens niall mcginn. Reckon a its all going on part 2 thread for the long summer months. 3 months at least. Crazy league one is finished when the season goe on to June.
Benny I concur with your Wheater,Morais,Taylor and Morais thoughts it will take a mixture of some money and juggling freebies to give us something to work with when the big Kick Off comes around. We of course have to think of a summer story to keep us occupied besides the cricket there's not much in the pipeline unless Chairman Ken can come up with a few announcements besides a running commentary on season ticket sales perhaps he'd like to start us off with submitting a financial forecast and then applying for the embargo to be lifted before working on some marble games
Yes Isaac potless, not plotless.
Well guys, I'll be back in Spain by 13 May. I will then have more time to devote to the saga of the Wanderers.
Such a pity regarding the three months without a ball being kicked in a meaningful competition. Still, I'm sure that there will be lots to discuss as there will be plenty of comings and goings. I doubt very much whether PP will be part of that process.
Be afraid very afraid
The Beano this morning has Pratley saying he wants to go back where he started with the Wanderers My little grey cells are not that bad but he's been with us during the great fall and he wants to stay for a free ride back to the land of TV and money. He should be told this morning to start looking for a new club.
Blimy wasted no time . 13 % hike on season ticket prices
that'll be to pay Amos' wage for 12 month
