If you want to know where the problem comes from, then it's you guys for buying season tickets and turning up. Don't go then the pressure is on DK and Co.
How many titles had BR won before he came to Celtic?
Some good points mate. I think Smid hits the nail on the head with regards to the boards rationale for replacing Warburton so they have to either completely back Pedro now and make 8 to 10 signings and spend a fair bit or they cut their losses and get in someone who can get more out of an average bunch.
Bears looking for crumbs of comfort. Taking over the ashes of their 5th roasting from Celtic and a 5-1 horsing at Ibrox to cap it off. The truth is that the club is rotten from top to bottom. The only hope is for big fat Mike Ashley to take over and mingle in the crowd with the fat bears. At least he has some money to invest and would probably get his mate, cvnty Alan Pardew, to manage the team. Other than that there's no hope for the bears
"Rather than ramble on, I will just list some bullet points as a summary "
Brilliant, glad you kept it short!
Although it was a good read and I agree with pretty much everything you say
G3r5fan, so what about your prediction made on April 16th?
We you not also one of the deluded bears giving it 'going for 55' at the start of the season?
Great original post some good well made points
Bubbsy, got effort! - Rangers level is 3rd in the league right now. Next year it all starts from the beginning again.
If money is the deciding factor of who wins the league, why do man city not win everything and how did Leicester win the league.
Also, mind when aberdeen and dundee united used to win the league. If you have a good manager and sign the right players to fir yuor systems, you will compete. Thats what Rangers plan is.
Putting the warburton thing to bed. - The problem with warburton was that he did get the best out of those players, but warburton had limitations. One of them was that when you look at his career, he seems to thrive on working with a very small squad and keep the players involved etc and to play only one system, which in the scottish league this season was clearly found wanting and he had no plan B. In other words the players were very one dimensional and were not experienced at playing at the top level and the gold fish bowl of scotland/ Glasgow in particular.
Moving on, warburton tried to be the big time manager and so bought big characters like barton and had a bigger squad and you could clearly see the tight unit of players he had from last year where he got the best out of them, started to go backwards. He also failed to manager guys like barton.
Warburton was out his depth in the end unfortunately and I think now its alld one, we are better off shot of him.
Pedro is unproven - I am optimistic about seeing what he brings in. It could fail and if it does, we dont want to be spending big money, so i think sensibly you will see the board say to him, show us your plan and we will agree to it if it is viable and makes sense.
On a positive note, pedro seems a calm guy when all around him right now are like headless chickens. Season was over for us last week not this weekend. So apart from a painful defeat, it was actually a meaningless result (pride was dented badly agreed).
Lets judge pedro on his signings.

I wouldn't concern yourself with the views of any Celtic fan
We know the issues we face and will do what we can to resolve
Right, some good banter on here, helps me to move on after yesterday
I am off now, need to join the real world and keep my head down in case I see any bhoys out there and they bring up the topic of some result yesterday.
Enjoy your day folks.

And stuff like that
Man City/Leicester??
Leicester appointed a quality coach and had significant funds at their disposal. Leicester were fortunate that all the big guns had an awful season 2015/16. It was down to that wily old fox CR and some terrific recruitment by Steve Walsh. You cannot compare the two.

Aye bit boabies.

Reading and taking them seriously are not the same thing
Just like I would never dream of contradicting your 'special knowledge'
At least Duke is still talking to you Pointy. He seems to have either filtered me or just won't engage with me at all, apart from a couple of less than subtle digs. C'est la vie.
Is that the same The Duke on FF?

Just had a look at some of the stuff on there. Truly shocking. 'our enemies'. Wit a bunch of loonies.
Not sure what's on the Celtic equivalents. Don't go on them. I hope it's not as rancid as that FF stuff.
