The last 4 years at OT have been god awful and Iv been to nearly every match. In fact I've only missed the odd cup game and not missed a league match in those four years. We've been dire by our own high standards.

We've not been any better this year as an attacking unit. We've just been tougher to beat and more resilient.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So you don't think we've been more entertaining at OT over last season?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Se85 conceeded top four in october ffs
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Our form in October / November will cost us top 4 you Moron not our 2017 form. I will be proved right.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No it won't. Had we won even today we'd have a decent chance of top 4

What happened in Oct/Nov wasn't great but it wasn't terminal in any way

We won 2 in 11 Robb and fell 11 pts off 4th at one point.

Of course that period has cost us. It was woeful return of pts.

We've been playing catch up ever since.

It didn't cost us though.

Had we beaten Everton, Swansea and West Brom (all games in April) we'd be in 3rd place and 5 points clear of Liverpool.

posted on 30/4/17

Had we won 5 or 6 of them in Oct November we'd be safe in top 4 too. Works both ways.

No it doesn't.

You conceded top 4 in November but time has proven you wrong - i.e. That it was very possible even as recently as this morning.

Yet unless my maths is incorrect we are 1+2 points off 3/4 and a game in had after Liverpool s game tomorrow which puts us firmly in atop 4 battle.

You are a boring little fagpuss. Bleating on because you go to games. Conceeding top 4 in October shows ur type of plastic fans we've accumulated.

I think you must have forgotten just how wretched we were at times last season going forward because it's not been quite as bad as that, yet. Some of our performances since the turn of the year have come close and we had the odd shocker in the earlier part of the season but during the first half of the season, we were noticeably better than last season mostly, even if we didn't have the points to show for it, not that it says a great deal really because things had to improve.

Iv been to over 600 games mate. Plastic? You probably don't even know where the ground is.

We are a poor Manchester utd team. You lot.just can't see it.

It's painful watching fellaini, lingard and co playing over 30 games for us. They wouldn't have got a kick for us in the past.

We may yet salvage the season by winning a below par Europa but the season hasn't been good.

If we win the Europa it's been a very good first season from Jose

People forget the philosophy and it was always gonna take more than one season to transform the teams mentality from that.

I look forward to part 2 of Joses plans to get us up to scratch this summer

And so what if I talk about going to games. Just sound like you're jealous because you're an armchair fan that probably streams every game and thinks he's Mr Utd and I actually go and support my club.

Fagpuss? Are you 12? You cretin.

We won more pts and scored more goals last season at home apparently. This is our worst league season at home in over 50 yrs.

But even then we were dire last season.

We haven't been perfect this season at home, far from it but we've at least had more intent

You can list all the stats you want but my eyes tell me we've played better football at Old Trafford this season than last. Not always as aside from Chelsea two weeks back, we've gotten worse as the season has gone on but it's not been as bad as last.

I was dying inside last season watching us at OT.

This x 100

That home game against Saints last season was the worst United performance I can ever recall seeing

I didn't stop supporting them though. I simply made an opinion that on the evidence I'd seen we'd not make top 4.

We are 4/1 outsiders and currently 5th. How was I wrong?

You are very confused. I don't stop going or singing. I just didn't feel things were right and they still fully aren't.

Also glory supporter? My first season at Utd was the last season before the pl started and I was born 3 miles from the ground and raised 6 miles from the ground. I still live in borough of Salford to this day.

Glory hunter? Are you even from the area? Probably not

posted on 1/5/17

You were wrong to think we wouldn't make top 4 back in November as since then we've caught up to the rest and had ample chances to make top 4.

Even today had we won we'd be in 3rd place

Again that's not how football works you moron.

People were asking whether we'd make top 4 and when we fell 10pts off the pace from.4th i said we wouldn't.

Doesn't make me less of a fan to pretend everything is rosy. It actually makes me more rational as some people just don't like admitting we're average. And we are.

You conceded la top 4 finish 3 months into a 9 month season. To call you a moron would be an insult to genuine morons especially when you look at our current position. Jesus.

But your point is that Oct/Nov killed us

It didn't. Even had we won a couple of easy looking home games in recent weeks (Bmouth/West Brom) we'd be well inside the top 4

It wasn't 2016 that killed us. It was recent weeks as we worked hard in Dec/Jan to get back in contention

--------

Both caused us just as much harm. If we hadn't dropped so many points early on the recent results wouldn't have been so important
