----------------------------------------------------------------------
How dumb are you? Media asks Harry Kane "can Spurs win title?" Of course he's gonna say yes we think we can etc. They then sensationalise this for click bait, paper sales etc and for some papers like the Sun that are affiliated with Sky, to keep interest in the title race alive. And then a load of gullible donuts start saying "oh who does he think he is saying they can win the title blah blah".
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The OP said "Nah in all seriousness, i know its the media drumming up excitement for a title race".
It is fun banter. Lighten up

I think Everton was your last slip-up its plain-sailing from now on.
The only hope is a win at WHU puts on a little bit of added pressure, but its facking Boro at home ffs

thats the thing, it will be nearly 3 days at 1 point
anything can happen but if we cant beat boro at home we dont deserve to win the title.
Can't see past wins at the weekend for both and then Maureen to set up for a draw and get it and title over. If not they won't beat us at home but I don't think it'll get to that stage once Chelsea win next week as well.
Chelsea will play 2 already relegated teams in this run in. You couldn't handpick easier fixtures for them. The title is done. More interested in next season now and what signings we're going to make.

I think you are right.
We were saying before match we needed a clean sheet and one hand on the title.
I think our defence will improve now and we should hopefully start winning games without conceding soft goals

big season next year for you guys,
its always hard to remain consistent in this league,
my gut feel is you need a big statement signing,
someone like Isco or rodriguez would be good for you

We definitely should be looking to sign that calibre of player now, with our second consecutive season in CL and being so close to winning the league.
I can't imagine we will but we may spend on one or 2 good PL proven players instead - Zaha etc.

Theres a great Viz comment with regards to this. Along the lines of:
'Why do we always say how stupid David Beckham and other footballers are? It isn't like we go "Steven Hawking, genius but can barely kick a ball"'

If i were Zaha, I (dry boak time) agree with Merson and the Sunday Supplement Journos who think he should stay at Palace and play regular football.
Zaha would be relentless at Wembley.

It’s bad (but I suppose the TV money is the cause) that 30-40m has now become the going rate for unspectacular players. I thought Utd had overpaid when it was just 15m.
