deBear - thanks mate. Even though Ariana's fan base is predominantly children and teenagers, Francesca likes her music and would probably have gone had she been offered a ticket by colleagues yesterday .

I'll be suspending hostilities for today
Too sad to have a go over football tbh
I cannot and don't want to imagine the hurt of parents who bought their child a ticket only to lose them

Zach It doesn't bear thinking about, mate. I go to pieces when my 2 year old Grandson falls and bumps his head, never mind the agony those poor people will now go through for the rest of their lives

It's times like this you want to be able to suspend human rights for those involved. I know the bomber is dead, but that was too quick. I want those involved to suffer. As far as I'm concerned, they lost their right to be given fair treatment. Why should they be subject to fairness when they plotted to kill innocent people-children ffs!

I know it might seem barbaric, but I want them just on the edge of death, in pain, begging to die. Death would be a relief for them. They have targeted the innocents and there is no sentence harsh enough for them. These skum didn't act like humans- I'm not even going to say that they behaved like animals-and as well as taking lives, they've ruined the lives of families who have lost loved ones.

I can't and don't want to imagine what people are going through either waiting on news of loved ones, or knowing that they've lost loved ones.

My heart goes out to all affected.

Confirmed on the news that it was a suicide bomber , how evil must these people be that they can mingle with their victims knowing it is mostly innocent kids that they are about to deprive of their lives. I am lost for words .

My hearts breaking, guy on the radio this morning saying his wee lassie got a ticket as a Christmas present, would be her first ever concert and she has been giddy with excitement, counting off the days and saving up her pocket money to buy merchandise at the concert, thankfully she is okay but I have tears thinking about the wee lassies and their mums/dads that aren't.

Fingers will be pointed, blame will be dished out but for me that's for tomorrow.

always 2 ends to these attacks.

the initial diabolical event and then the hate filled mob mentality afterwards on social media.

Absolutely awful. I just can't understand it. Why would you attack a venue full of children?

Thoughts are with all those who have lost someone. My heart breaks for them.

Horrid stuff - sick human beings who've carried out this attack.

See the people online btw sharing fake stories of missing people and a guy with a gun at the hospital just trying to get attention / shares / retweets; they need to have a serious look at themselves.

Two schools of thought

1. Some sick fvck with a grievance against society because (usually) he has had a bum deal in life and is among those living on the margins

2. Some sick fvck who has been radicalised/brainwashed by Islam and harbours deep seated hate of all non believers.

More of the latter than the former prevail like the London terrorist.

Oh it does exist. Pap them aff there. Better still .. just hang the fvckers and save us all the expense.

From perverts to suicide bombers we've imported them and home grown them too. We've allowed it to fester under our noses. We all know why.

Time to act and start the job of ridding the country of these sub-human creatures. Proper punishments. Good aw abiding citizens need protecting from these people. It's not enough to say we are resilient and we won't bow to terrorism. We have to be pro-active. We have to have adequate measures in place a deterrent and punishment. People have to feel their government puts their safety first and not the human rights of these scvm or political correctness. This is becoming all to prevalent and strong action is required. Otherwise this will ultimately create serious fvckin social divide.

Terrible goings on, truly horrific. These people that do these are animals. Absolute vermin

The flip side is the reaction from normal people, flinging their doors open to complete strangers in need of help . Offering them rooms for the night , lifts home and food.

"how do you seperate the good from the bad though esc, they hide in plain sight."

Part of the training for those that have been radicalised abroad is being taught how to 'blend in' to the community doing normal jobs and not attract any attention.
