You know what John, for the first time you have me stumped. I have no idea how to respond to this. But I'll give it a try:
You want to stop supporting the club?
Have I got that right?
You are no longer a fan of Leicester City?
After seeing us in League 1, you want to stop supporting us now?
Or you're just no longer renewing your season ticket?
Help me out, here...?
A typical and to be expected post from JG.... Lots of words and fluffing up of a Pro Ranieri post
I for one was a vocal supporter of Ranieri and while disappointed with his dismissal I understood the reasons. I also don't believe that Shakey is the way forward for "our" club BUT
I always have and always will support our club through thick or thin and through times where I disagree with the direction the owners take us.
But its our club, its in our blood and if you JG are giving up your seats over this then you have gone way down in my expectations and you will not be missed at the King Power.
UTF - always!!!
Me and a couple of mates will have your seats, where do you sit?
DDDD - To be expected?

With the expected appointment of Shakey on the horizon it was always going to rattle the cage of JG, and he would respond with his war & peace presentation but I admit even i am surprised at the indication of giving up his seats and stop supporting our club.

On the bench next to Shakey!!
I did find this post a bit dramatic considering the events of last night. Just had to say that,
DDDD - I was expecting article of complaint, followed by a Nev love-in. It would have gone too far but wouldn't have been without merit. But I can safely say I wasn't expecting an exeunt.

Coward.
That's what this is. Can't hack a future without love and glory so decides to maroon himself permanently at a fixed point in the past and makes out like it's some heroic, principled goodbye.
Just decided that I would no longer renew my season tickets and have already returned them to the club confirming this. Cannot see why I can reasonably invest my money when I am absolutely against appointments of personnel based on availability not credibility.
The club will not prosper by such decisions and I have to make often long journeys to support - which current events mean I am unwilling to do so.
Wow that took some reading pesky.
Having read such rubbish mine and Im sure most readers opinion is with ' fans ' like that who needs enemies. The comment ;joke fan' wasnt far wrong.
Most opposition fans will laugh their heads off reading that. and Im sure most true LCFC fanswill agree with me in offering you good riddance. The club doesnt need glory boy supporters like that. Stick to Man Utd or Chelsea.
Bet you will be back next season if we do well even if its under you nemesis Shakey ( The coach and No 2 with the prem winning team)
Personally once a Fox ( since 1968) always a fox even if we end up like Cov
Just imagine, for a moment, if someone (let's say me for instance) had posted something like this after Pearson had been fired and we'd hired Ranieri, reputation freshly damaged by Greece and appointment ridiculed by even some of our most famous fans. How would you have replied to such a post by me if I'd said that was it, I don't like the way the club is going after the dreadful treatment of Pearson, I'm not renewing my season ticket, the club's a disgrace, I'm off.
And be honest. Not with me, but with yourself. How would you have responded to that?
Incidentally, if this is trolling then I applaud you. This is absolutely fantastic, and ten years or more in setup.
Excellent analogy Dunge.....
Response anticipated!!
And you know what, all those years of "regardless of what happens, everyone in the stadium has a responsibility to get behind the team".
All.
Those.

That doesn't apply now as JG will be outside the stadium next season 😉

A bizarre decision, especially considering the club hasn't even announced whether Shakespeare will be manager next season In fact, after the last couple of performances, I wouldn't rate his chances at more than 50/50.
How will you feel if the club hired an experienced manager with international pedigree, like Mancini or Pellegrini?
After all the years of crap we've faced, to go now when you have the privilege of three season tickets (a rare commodity) seems strange to say the least.
I suspect the truth is that JG is relinquishing his season tickets for a whole host of reasons; indeed, he has alluded to the lengthy journeys he now has to make in one of his posts. But blaming it on a lack of direction by the Club makes far better reading.
Not worth responding to, especially today of all days.

The sacking of Pearson was prompted by his actions and reactions to the owners to a given situation in Thailand and well documented and understood. He left them no options. They also ensured that they researched the market for a replacement and made the decision. Significantly they had the opportunity if he was considered suitable to appoint Shakespeare and thus reduce disruption to the minimum. They clearly didn’t feel he was an adequate replacement.
Ranieri was certainly not on my horizon or particularly welcomed but had a first class CV including some of top European clubs- so it reflected at least ambition.
Ranieri sacking triggered in Seville with no prior planning by the owners but a reaction to a series of discussions whilst there. Result was a disgraceful procedure at Birmingham airport and an urgent requirement to appoint an acting manager – Shakespeare – the man not good enough when Pearson left.
Anybody who would link him with a manager position with any Premier League club is in cuckoo land.
As I consider his appointment a reflection of poor ambition I have decided to use my option not to review. Not complicated …
John, you have brought me out of hibernation! Just when we are in transition & in need of support for a reformation you take your ball & go home. Your views are so out of kilter with what happened this season that your blinkers have completely slipped over your eyes. Have you forgotten the awful recruitment under Ranieri & that it was basically Pearson's team + Kante that won the League. A team built on good sports science that Ranieri did not adhere to. I don't believe the conspiracy theories but I know the team were not as fit as before & the confusion shown upon occasion on formations led to poor results & ultimately to the manager's dismissal. If you are so petty & unsupportive of our team now maybe it's time for you to go. I think you thought about this before. I was there in a League 1 & I'll be there next year.
The only point I will agree with you about is Ranieri's sacking at an airport & I agree he was a lovely gentleman. He did however return to the training ground to say farewell to all the players.
Whatever happens next year & I think there are several options we just have to trust our owners to come up with a good choice - but you won't be there to see it will you!
