Nate Silver feels a hung Parliament is as likely as either a solid tory victory or a tory landslide.

All depends on youth turnout.

No chance there then.

I don't know. Corbyn and Bernie have this incredible power to reach people around me. I can't use myself as a weather vane, I'm always going to vote and it's likely always going to be a left wing one. But the difference between Corbyn and Milliband is just how much he's LOVED by people around me.

The only young people I really know have completed or are in the process of completing postgraduate studies, so they aren't really a good representation of the demographic.

Everything I hear and see is anecdotal, but I'm surprised at the voices popping up on Facebook. Some are heavily campaigning that I simply would not expect to give a monkeys.

Funny what being consistently crapped on can do to people.

Think its worth getting out of bed to save fifty grand on university fees.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's the ones not in Uni that are less likely to turnout, I think.
Plus, at a minimum age of 18 to vote, not tuition fees won't make a difference to the majority voting.

Best I'm hoping for is a hung parliament/reduced majority and then plenty of stalling and frustrating of the disastrous Brexit shambles.
---

This is one of the reasons I'm voting Tory.

So cheers

Not that the young would ever vote selfishly though...

Frustrating Brexit negotiations...... that's why we are here in the first place.

After all the EU posturing opinion is now that over 60% would vote leave.

I am over 65 and I certainly am slightly ashamed of some of my age group, who have become very, very selfish. I think their parents, and their grandparents would be turning in their graves if they saw the way that the so called Baby Boomers are behaving towards the essential services that their generation fought so hard for like the NHS and decent Public Services.

Some some ex miners on the news who had lived through Thatcher and the strikes but are going to vote Tory because of Brexit.

For Shame.

Sandy

You for Trump now, keeping the pits open?

Arthur Scargill and Maggie used and abused the miners.

Falling deficit
Less crime
More jobs
Sovereignty back
Secure borders
Lower tax
Free trade

Or bumbling terrorist sympathisers and borrow happy Labour?

Nah, Got to be Conservatives

Selling off anything that isn't nailed down and still in a deficit while debts rise drastically is not a good economic model.

Crime overall may be down but violent crime is on the rise. Could that have something to do with the 20,000 job cuts?

All the new jobs are being taken by immigrants, aren't they? Zero hour contracts are definitely on the rise.

Sovereignty back. Like it was ever really lost, but that debate has been played out.

I'd do the other 3 but who really cares? Everyone is already set in their ways by this stage.

Labour's lost about 10% of the vote to UKIP over the years and most of then now gone to Conservatives, so kind of impossible for them to win. Corbyn will get more % than Miliband but less seats probably, unless there's crazy youth turnout. But even then doubt that will be enough.
