This is a farce. Do yourself and the sport a favour and don't pay for it.

50-0 and Floyd finally beats that Marciano record too.

Gunna be a great spectacle, wonder if sky or box nation will get it, box nation usually gets Mayweathers bar the Pac fight

Mcgregor will probably still put up a better effort than Pacquiao did

at the people who think mcgregors got any kind of chance in this fight, peoples hate of mayweather really does blind them to what will be the biggest "big fight" mis match probably ever in boxing

Maybe but he's gone from being on the dole to fighting for $100m, living in LA and driving round in Rolls Royce's.

Not done to bad has he?

Don't begrudge him his success KLS. Fair play to him on that.

He is still a belll end who has a generation of young lads over here thinking they are hard men. That coupled with the fact he hangs out with some of Dublin's worst criminals makes him a tw at.

hes done well, made his money through a smart game plan, picking his fights well and good promos on media days

I could beat Marciano's record as well by fighting people that have never professional boxed before.

Im a huge fan of McGregor for what he does (In MMA).

But I wouldn't give him a chance against a top 100 pro boxer.

I watched the clips of him hitting pads and sparring about a year ago, at he looked really out of his comfort zone and very ordinary. I'd actually go as far to say that a top Olympic amateur would beat him in a boxing ring.

I just think people are getting caught up in the hype and novelty of the fight and don't realise that he is fighting an undefeated champion in a sport to which he has dedicated his whole life to.

Mayweather is a boxing great and arguably the greatest defensive fighter the sport has ever seen. People need to remember that hes beaten every world champion he has came up against and a plethora of future hall of famers - De La Hoya, Mosely, Pacquio, Cotto... The list goes on.

I can actually see this fight being so one sided that it will make a mockery of UFC and all the good work it's done to establish itself as one of the top sporting franchises in the world at the moment.

Mayweather is 40 now, hasn't knocked anoyone out in years (apart from joke Ortiz KO), has brittle hands, hasn't fought in a big fight for over two years and probably is going into this fight thinking that it will be a walk over.

Fortunately for Mayweather his pals at USADA are doing the testing for this fight so he'll be able to turn the clock back a bit.

It wont even be a real fight.

FFS its just a money making exercise for those involved. Stop taking this seriously it will be about as real as wrestling.

Mayweather has the chance to surpass Marcianos record with one more win. I think he'll be up for it.

Also, I don't think age comes into it. His boxing brain is second to none and his style means he barely breaks a sweat during a fight.

End of the day tho no matter how much of a farce people with think the fight is we will all watch it.... All of us !

D4 especially more than anyone else praying the whole night that somehow Conor wins.

YOU WILL ALL TUNE IN, so will everyone else, if that gives more exposure to the sport and other fighters on the undercard then its a positive.

People will berate on here and other forums about how its shocking, a farce damaging to the sport etc but look at all the pro boxers out there commenting on it and desperate for the fight to take place and will be desperate for tickets.

Take it for what it is..people can moan about it being a $100m fight but its only that much cos of how much it will bring in FACT

Na I dont do PPV anymore. Not since run of the mill fighters like Kell Brook and Eubank Jr have the audacity to charge for it.

The last big PPV was Tyson and Lewis. All the rest should be free to air.

I won't watch it, I won't stream it.

I'm a boxing fan, not a fanboy.

Obviously you fanboys will be up for it, as you like the celebrity culture.

I'm a boxing fan and this is a boxing forum. This is how it usually works. Didn't realise I had to be a McGregor fanboy, or had to watch the fight to express an opinion.

And seeing how you know what I will and won't do... Any chance of giving me the winning numbers for Friday's Euro millions?

One comment would suffice on your disapproval for this fight. No need to plonk yourself on this thread to tell everyone how they're making a big mistake watching it. Kind of like as if you're saying if I'm not watching the fight, I don't want anyone else to watch it.
