Why three? If we seal the lacazette deal and move Alexis back up front( if he stays), that would make for potent strike force I would have thought .

Not sure Giroud would want to move to a mid-table club. Surely he would rather one of the top french/italian teams.

Also don't think Wenger would offload him so easily - and so early.

Why move Alexis upfront when he is better on the left? We need actual facking strikers, tired of playing people out of position.

Alexis is not a striker though. He is at his best where he is, and moving him weakens the team.

If we get Lacazette (for example) there is no guarantee he will settle in straight away. Need experience and goals to carry the weight.


Welbeck is not a striker, Walcott is not a striker. Giroud is.

Weakening our options and squad if we did sell Giroud.

Whether Giroud would go depends on a number of things. World Cup year, pretty much guaranteed starts. If he wants to stay in London, where better (apart from Arsenal)? Money will probably be better as well.

Alexis doesn't want to play up front. He likes it out wide.

Buy a replacement before letting him leave. This is so typical Arsenal to let go of a player before getting a better one in. And we all know how that replacement never comes. Imagine having to go into the new season with Welbeck and Walcott as our only main strikers.

Rather sell Welbeck and keep Giroud as no 2 striker

Shy are saying West Ham want to sign Giroud. They are not saying Arsenal want to sell Giroud. Big difference.

They've probably sent Arsenal a begging letter.

Can't see Giroud joining relegation fodder, would attract interest from top French sides I'd imagine

Yup he wasn't clinical at all. Huge impact, presence and being an incredible big game player made him the player he was.

You'd be better off selling Welbeck and signing a good striker.

Honestly I would prefer to keep them all and to add. Competition is good and brings the most of the players.

A strong horse that is good for heavy work. Very useful.

Just as Giroud is very useful in our squad.
