Sissoko

Have to disagree, he's just not very good when it comes to the attributes that matter most. He's built for a Mourinho team and nothing else.

Pace - Yes
Strength - Yes
Technique - No
Vision - No
Composure - No
Skill - No
Passing - No
Shooting - No

He's an athlete and no more. Hardly pulled up any trees at Newcastle either. Not as if he's some youngster learning the game or adapting to a new league either, in theory he's near or at his peak

I just cannot see it myself. I thought he had a good game at the tail end at RWB, a position unfamiliar to him (although I am in a minority there) and I would have liked to have seen him given a game in CM but it was not to be.

If we can get anything over 15m we should look to take the hit and move on. I think we could get a big wedge off of Marseille, PSG, newly flush Monaco, one of the Milan duo or from China though

He won't offer anything whatsoever to the team so let's get rid of him and the other non-contributors and sign a top attacking midfielder

No his issue is that he lacks quality, that was just a very small purple patch at the euros

I think he'd be decent for us, if he played regularly.

Problem is he hasn't ever had the chance to start more than a game at a time (or shown enough quality to deserve to).

Can't see him staying, he needs to be playing every week. Definitely don't think he's as bad as we make out, there's a player in there somewhere.

Sissoko is a bit on an enigma. Plays well elsewhere but not for Spurs! We've had other players that do that....remember Paulinho?
Well rumors are barca are interested in him now. And the CF who couldn't score? And Janssen?
Is there something wrong with WHL... that is the question!
Well now,...its Wumbelley next season isn't it? And we shall see how our miserable performers work out on the bigger stage.

He's had games like that for toon too. If he demonstrates the qualities, he clearly has them. The issue he has is maintaining them.

Any professional footballer can show quality in small doses. Papiss Cisse looked like a top striker for half a season

Worst signing in terms of value in history? He's up there.

He's truly useless.

Reports suggest that Poch was unhappy with his lack of effort in training and his attitude, only one winner there in my opinion!

He does have the ability but lacks motivation. This can be seen by his last season at Newcastle, where he didn't give a toss about the team going down but wanted to make sure he was in the French squad. You'll sell him, he'll have a great year to get to the World Cup but the year after he'll be dross again.

See I'm not sure where this "ability" is because I don't see it. All I see is a guy that plays football like a baby giraffe falling over his feet all the time. Looks uncomfortable and incredibly clumsy on the ball. I was willing to give him a chance like any Spurs player but he's f*** useless.

Son was hot and miss, but he did have some reallt good games, and still scored. West Ham at home stands out. Palace. 8 goals in 40 games was solid

MY POINT BEING HE WAS GIVENA FULL SEASON THEN HE CAME GOOD.

Your point is wrong because he earned a second season by showing promise in the first Sissoko showed no promise and was called out by the manager for not putting any effort in.

Cut our loses asap

He shouldn't have had a first season with us and doesn't deserve a second one. Would take a hit just to free up his alleged wages.

IN YOUR OPINION ITS WRONG....id be happy to give him another season....yes he's been poor...but doesn't mean he can't turn it around....all to quick to write people off.

Your point is wrong because you said he had a full season THEN came good where in reality son was good in his first season and THEN was excellent in his second.

Even at decent showed so much more than Sissoko it's really not comparable.

Fact that the manager called him out and his agent talking in press all signals he's gone to me.

Sissoko vs Lamela in their first seasons is a better comparison. Both terrible to be blunt yet honest, however Lamela was about 20/21 and was playing in a new league in a country where he didn't understand the language - Sissoko hasn't got any of those excuses. Just a poor player.

Son showed plenty enough in his first season. Said as much at the end of last season.

Started well, despite signing late.
Had an injury and it hindered him when he returned.
Finished the season strongly with a couple of goals.

All in all, 8 goals in 40 games (24 starts at most) which is a decent return.

Even though it is acmnowledged he was patchy in the league, he started just 13 games.

His 4 PL goals in 1107 minutes on the pitch is the equivalent of just over 12 full games.

In Europe he hit 3 goals in 507 minutes. Less than 6 full games
