Kendrick is higher than 10 now
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah, but his music gets less enjoyable by the album for me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I thought his earlier raps are better but he's making better music now tbh, subjective I guess

Ja rule was never a great rapper but made A LOT of hot music that has stood the test of time.

He has a better discography than most tbh.

Ice Cube should be a special mention if he doesn't make top 10

Eminem completely destroyed his career.

The diss record Eminem and 50 did was killer.

Hailies Revenge. Brilliant.

Also I never understood ranking Tupac higher than Biggie, is it because he's political?. I never even thought it was close when you compare their work.

People who don't really understand rap music rate Tupac (NO OFFENCE GUYS !!!!!!) he is basically a walking gimmick, his flow is a bit suspect as well. Just commercially huge and obviously immortalised which has galvanised his legacy in a way it shouldn't. To an extent the same thing happened to Biggy as well, but his Ready to Die album is an absolute gem.

I have and he's nowhere near the top of a list, he is better than Lil Wayne of course, neither should be on a top list of rappers

Anyway Rap doesn't exist anymore, it's all rubbish R&B.

I would recommend listening to ATLiens and Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik as you clearly haven't. There is a reason he is widely regarded as one of the all time greats. If anything I feel sorry for Big Boi who is a good rapper himself but massively overshadowed.

My top 10 favourite rappers:

1) Andre 3000
2) Ghostface Killah
3) Kurupt (Dogg Pound)
4) Rakim
5) Masta Ace
6) GZA
7) Ice Cube
8) Slick Rick
9) Inspectah Deck
10) KRS-One

Off the top of my head. Probably forgot a couple who deserve to be in.

Sorry, just don't like Eminem.
Biggie was good unlucky not to make it.
2Pac made good tracks, but only Me against the World and The 7 Day Theory are the only albums with any consistency imo.
Probably missed a few out.

Those questioning Robbs inclusion of Andre 3000 probably only know him from Hey Ya. Cee-Lo would be in top 20 as well .

Eminem is one of the greatest freestylers on the planet. His later stuff isn't as good as him at his peak but things like Rap God show off some genius still bubbling below the surface
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yep but I still don't appreciate it for whatever reason. I didn't enjoy watching Barca in their pomp either tbf.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If anyone doesnt like eminems new stuff they obviously haven't heard him on yelawolfs Best friend among other feature such as the hills remix.

list would be

1.)Em
2.)Nas
3.)Pac

Of the new guard its J.Cole and Kendrick.
