Tough question, Torres was lethal for us for a few years, but prime Drogba was a beast.

Drogba I'd say but hard call.

Tough one. Had to ignore Drogbas excellent season in 09 I think it was.

Torres had a ridiculous strike rate though and was the more natural finisher.

Very different strikers with different strengths.

Torres scored a lot of goal, but Drogba was the ultimate big game striker, who created so much space for those around him.

Chelsea fans will say Drogba and Pool fans will say Torres. So it will ultimately it will come down who has more fans in ja606.

So in the end this article will prove nothing

I think it comes down to the rest of the team theyd be playing with

Torres had 60% of a decent career , sublime at his peak,

utter tosh 40% for the rest unfortunately.

Drogba on the other hand enjoyed 100% of his career at the top, amazing footballer who rose to the occasion in the big games.

You should check out his 150 + goals for CFC

As a United fan, when both players were in their peak I hated lining up against Torres more, but also preferred him as to what he offered as a striker.

Drogba was obviously sometimes unplayable at his peak too.

If I could somehow bring one from the past in their absolute prime to play for United this season it would be Torres though.

(although Jose would likely disagree!)

Oh i love the scouse spirit,

Yes peak, but lets face it Torres peaked early, and the Drog just kept going for several years.

No contest imo.

Both strikers on their day could destroy even the best centre backs.
