Oh i love the scouse spirit,
Yes peak, but lets face it Torres peaked early, and the Drog just kept going for several years.
No contest imo.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He didn't peak early he started at 17 while Drogba was getting paid with a £20 note in his sock because he was sh!t.
True story.

Drogba would never have had the chance to even secure his legacy at Chelsea in such style if it wasn't for Torres

Drogba was a late bloomer. But also had a longer successful career with Chelsea. Hence winning every trophy available to him in the process.
Yeah Torres never won anything really and hardly kicked a ball despite playing more games than Drogba and will continue to do so. Other than that another great post.
Despite his poor form.at Chelsea he still managed to win some major trophies whilst at Chelsea i.e. the CL, Europa league and the FA cup.
What did he win at Liverpool ?
I'm unsure what your point is?
What did Drogba win with the Ivory Coast because if it wasn't a world cup then that's about as relevant.
Top post again though. You're on fire.
My point is that Torres will remember fondly the times when he won silverwares at Chelsea and not at Liverpool.
True Story
Why would you make that point? Does it make you feel better?
Both very good players.
In my head I always saw Drogba like a sledgehammer that would smash his way through anything eventually. Tories had a bit more pace and finesse about him and in his peak years was absolutely lethal in front of goal.
Both had accusations of going down easily and both won a number of major trophies.
Being a Liverpool fan, I'm inclined to choose torres but it's too close to call. So I'm going with suarez

Both players played for Chelsea. They both won numerous silvarewares at Chelsea. So I am not going to argue who is better.
As I said Pool fans will claim Torres and Chelsea fans will claim Drogba (due to his long serving career at Chelsea)

That would make sense if you hadn't read my first post I guess.
Over a career Drogba.
But for 2 seasons Torres was one of (if not the) best number 9 in world football. He was ridiculous but for a very short period of time.
Then he became a totally different sort of ridiculous. His fall from grace is as quick as I've seen in terms of peak to average.
Drogba had stronger finish to his career. He fot better with age. Whereas Torres started strongly and finished poorly

I'm quite certain a player never forgets winning the Champions League. Especially if they only ever win it once.
Drogba's peak lasted a lot longer than Torres IMO. Both peaks had periods when they were very, very hot though.
