And are they willing to pay the fees and wages for the players mentioned?

Klopp is better than our previous managers in this way, but let's not get too excited as they haven't signed (yet).

Both VVD & Keita are being valued at aprox £70m. That is a lot of money.

BTW, I heard that Watford are interested in Markovic.

VVD..WANTS to come to Liverpool, binned CFC and City...N Keita has (apparently) said he WANTS to come to Liverpool..Salah WANTED to come to Liverpool.....when was the last time these sort of quality players wanted to play for Liverpool recently?

....................

I bet you had to Google two of those, once you heard of a Liverpool link.

Totally unrelated, but don't you think that Alberto Moreno look like Canelo Alvarez ?

When Rickie Lambert, Lazar Markovic and Dejan Lovren signed wasn't it?

Which two? Because I'm sure even GBs knowledge extends to a Southampton player and a guy we tried to sign 3 years ago!

I'm happy to admit I've never seen Keita play a single game though. I have no idea what's he's like beyond what I've read.

There is no such thing as a Klopp effect. There is a repeat of the process we have seen over the previous five years where Liverpool have spent considerable sums on transfers in the summer window. On each of those occasions, GB was banging the drum about such statements of intent represented signs of a future power shift. On each of those occasions, it became apparent that considerable sums of money had been wasted.

Could be different this time but it is the same scatter gun approach to transfers Liverpool have used before.

Lovren, Lambert, Carroll, Sakho - the list goes on. The consistent factor is GB creamed himself over the signing of each.

None of these signings, including Salah, are a sure thing. Also how amazing how so many people believe transfers guarantee improvement. They do not. The point is getting the key players and hoping they perform. No one knows if these signings from abroad worked until the season is well underway. This whole "statement of intent" narrative should be put out to pasture.

It's so funny how jealous the Spurs lost are that we can afford to blow money.

They're currently in the market for a £3m 19year old nobody from Barca

Liverpool could always attract players and have been spending good sums of money.
Have a feeling that Salah will be a good signing. Rated him highly from his time at Basel.

he looks like a cross between gerrard & alonso.

lol Liverpool have signed plenty of players better or players with much bigger reputations than Salah and Keita over the years.

Van Dijk would be a great signing but it doesn't seem like there is much competition to get him so it's kind of a no brainer for him
