Great potential.

Hopefully he will play in all cup games for the club this year to gain experience.

Don't know what it says about the quality of the Northern Ireland team that he got a call to the senior squad.

Interesting further fact - remember that young American keeper we had here a couple of seasons ago - he has been forced to retire after one of his teammates assaulted him and gave him a severe concussion.

Charlie Horton.

That's about as bad a story as I've read.
Moronic 'team mate' with no brains.
Disgusting. Hope Horton wins his law suit.

The team mate should be released from the club as well as taken to court.

Which probably means it'll make it difficult to
collect on any compensation awarded. Charming.

Or just brainless, Mike. Idiots come in all sizes.

Well that thread went off topic in a huge way...

Let's hope he stays long enough to realize that potential.

He could be another (peacock) feather in the hat of the academy.

Sorry, couldn't resist the pun.

He's been highly thought of by several regimes at the club, but has another new management team to impress.

Reality is as it stands he's third choice and needs game time, he should have had a loan spell last year and could do with some first team action in the lower leagues this year. Needs to play man's football to prove he can make the step up... general consensus is he will make the step up but needs the chance to show it.

So send him on loan with a 48 hour recall clause?

Genuinely don't see the point in keeping Marco, he's not good enough for first team and likely won't be, he's had long enough to prove it.

Sell Marco and promote BPF to all cup games and the bench.

AZA, genuine question - have you seen BPF play more than just a few times? Is he ready for the senior team?

Reserve team last year he was very decent.

Has a presence which Marco lacks and is excellent at collecting crosses.
