Just heard about this, apparently he's not signing a new deal (don't know if it's expiring this summer or not). Don't know much about him other than he's made the bench at times in the season just finished. Might as well for that fee.

Iv been a big fan of his since the moment I just read his name in the title of your article. Clearly will be world class and once YouTube know who he is I'm sure his video will make him look world class too

Hahaha to be fair I've never heard of him either. Though how bad can a 19 yo Barcelona player be?

Surely at €3 and if poch likes him then I say go for it

posted on 26/6/17

Yep, if Poch gives the green light then I'm all for it

Swear we get linked every summer to a young Barca player and haven't signed any of them

That's what I've heard him hyped up as. But then Sergi Samper was hyped as the next Busquets, so I'm not sure how luch it actually means.

There's a YouTube video of him and it shows him taking a good corner.

SIGN HIM UP LEVY!!!!!!!

Has to be signed before Saturday or his fee increases to
€10m.

Looks okay and if Poch likes him then its okay with me. All transfers are a risk anyway!

never heard of him, but not necessarily a bad thing, these days I watch virtually no football on the continent, and rarely watch any football that's not spurs either.

At least we know he can handle a football as he would have been well schooled.
Unfortunately we cant afford the big fees other clubs around us are paying right now so we have to dig out those gems.. We just need Poch to earn his corn on the training ground whilst the others buy themselves to glory.

posted on 27/6/17

Why can't we afford the big fees?

posted on 27/6/17

To be fair I think it's more a case of we can't or won't pay the wages to match the fees. Even with the stadium to pay I'd imagine we could pay £35m for someone no problem.

I doubt we would break £100k for a player, but surely a superstar, or future superstar would come to us for a big signing and demand wages less than that?

Lemar/Brandt for £40m and £80k a week? Why can't we pay these wages?

Because someone like Arsenal will come in and offer 120k.

Imo we need our wage cap to go higher because if not we will be stuck signing players like Nkoudou and Njie

Not every time though surely Hengy. Yes we will get beaten every now and then but there are plenty players out there who are moving teams within our wage structure.

True but I can't imagine that all of the top talent that has moved teams in the last couple of years have all demanded 90k a week straight off the bat. Reckon we think that because they're 18-19 they're only worth 30k a week etc which is why we're never in for them

Like fees are on average around 30m for a decent player I think 100k wages are now becoming the average too.

Of course there will be bargains here and there but I think our wage structure is holding us back.

Also think the way levy goes about things also does us no good.
