I don`t get the Van Dyke wanck fest, he`s way over rated imo, last season he was awful when Spurs put 4 past Saints at St Mary`s, many people seem to be looking the ridiculous fee being banded around and have assumed he is the next Beckenbauer

Yer but to be fair you're a d!ckhead!

He is the next Vincent Kompany. And it's pure ignorance to not rate him as highly, especially if you tunnelvision into one bad game and ignore his entire first and second season where he was arguably the best cb and consistent. The guy has no weaknesses and checks all the boxes (leadership, ballplaying defender, good pace, a rock in defending). It's RARE to find this kind of player and he hasn't even peaked yet. I compare him to Kompany because he also checks these boxes. No weaknesses.

I actually think CB is the last place we need strengthening.

Luiz, Azpi, Christensen, Ake, Zouma and Cahill is more than enough.
----------------------------------------------------------------------Azpi is weak in the air, Luiz prone to making a mistake/lose concentration and Cahill is a solid player that brings important goals, but not the youngest and not worldclass. Christensen did impress me. His positioning is really good and always calm on the ball. It remains to be seen if he can show the same level of competence in the premier league. Im not sure he'll want to remain the property of Chelsea if vvd is bought thouhg. It would be unwise to offload all three youngsters.

Ake will probably be sold, Zouma is a tad overhyped I feel since I just don't see that worldclass potential whenever I see him play. C

Rather disappointed to hear Ake is going, i prefer we kept him and let Cahill go.

Zouma needs first team football , so the loan will help him.

Christiansen is an exciting prospect and i hope we get V Dyke and Sandro.

All great sides are built with solid defences , ours is shaping up.

Be a shame if ake does go, seems like he can really excel at this level.

What is Christensen actually like, People on here rate abraham and baker but they were woeful for the england u21s lastnight. Chalobah not much better.

So would be nice to get an actual view from someone whose watched him a lot? I understand the want for people to come through the youth set up but it can't be a coincidence that none of our youth players have stepped up.

Most excited i've been about a young player is kenedy whose actually came on and changed games. Yet he looks like he won't feature much again.

I hear great things about Christensen too...never seen him play...& I wonder how good he actually is
