A report in The Times says Liverpool will not face any punishment over the alleged tapping up of Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk after a preliminary investigation from the Premier League found there was insufficient evidence to start disciplinary proceedings.

Yes. But they put all evidence forward. PL said not sufficient enough so unless we do something silly, dare I say we got away with it?

IF Van Dijk moves in this window...I will honestly be astounded if it wasn't to us.
I'm reaching the stage where I don't care any more. Is there any benefit in VvD waiting till the opening day of the shooting (i.e. Transfer window) season on 1st July to make any move, such as submitting a written transfer?

According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea are now concentrating their CB efforts on VVD.
