I'm pretty sad he never kicked on to be honest, the talent is there for all to see.

Lets hope the likes of Pereira and TFM learn from his mistakes.

Good fee for Januzaj... Perisic is a poor signing tho

I don't know what happened. He was consistently good for long periods against Sunderland away

Well done for what?

A 22 year old who clearly has talent (but lacks the discipline and mental strength) got sold for peanuts in this market and we should slap Ed on the back... Seriously... Ibe got sold for 15M last season... Ibe!!

Wish the lad the best in future. Probably not enough talent to be starter for us but could have been a decent squad player if he had a head on him.

Not quite - the fee is flat £3.5m with potential to go upto £10m based on certain milestones.

We've got one whole week to get Perisic sorted as Inter go on their pre-season tour to Croatia nezt Tuesday.

Adnan has two flopped loan spells and he's out of favour at United, he's also got a year left on his deal. The fact we got double figures is actually impressive imo.

some bitter spurs fans recently referred to martial as "the french jordan ibe", but martial scored as many senior goals - one - in the first 20 minutes of his PL career as ibe has scored in his life

It seems that United have briefed all the media outlets about Perisic, they must be feeling confident.

Why? I'm intrigued why people think this.

Memphis

Maybe because he's been sh-t for 2 seasons, supposedly has an attitude problem and only has a year left on his contract.

Sociedad also aren't a PL club so can't pay over the odds.

posted on 11/7/17

Sociedad seem to do ok at developing young players. Will be interesting to see how he does over there, especially out of the spotlight of the pl.

He probably misses the smell of Moyes.

His crossing is poor... Passing is poor... Finishing goes from spectacular to Welbeck

He's a workhorse tho... And if he has room to use his pace can beat players (he uses speed more than skill)

As much as i don't want him... His workrate will make him hard to not like... But he'll be infuriating

Some are making him out to be a touchline hugging winger...who'll ping crosses in... And he isn't... He loves to come inside... His crossing is his weakest part of his game

-----
Such a class way of describing a player.

posted on 11/7/17

If he can get his head down and work hard I think he still has a good chance. The talent's there, it's more about his capability mentally.

Hopefully we put in some kind of percentage fee of any future sale, because if he does do well he will be sold on most likely.

To be honest Dier and Perisic could just be a smokescreen for other targets. No one knew that we would clinch Lukaku for example.

"Finishing goes from spectacular to Welbeck"

I can deal with that from a winger though.

And we used Pedro to get Martial before, maybe it's an Ed special move.

I think Perisic looks a dead cert tbh. For 48m though...utterly ridiculous.

As fir dier I'll be severely pissssed off if we get him especially for the ridiculous price being quoted when there is much better out there. He is so average

Perisic is someone who will frustrate us but also excite us. Counter attacks with him and Lukaku will at least give us the pace we missed with Ibra and Lingard dilly dallying

Ivan Perisic move from Inter Milan to Manchester United getting closer. Talks ongoing. Inter still asking for close to £48m.

And I thought this was going to be a quiet summer for United.
