Cannot argue with any of that.
Was very impressed with Celtic particularly first half hour and last ten minutes. Very professional performance against what we are, a well organised part time outfit.
As i stated yesterday your midfield is outstanding particularly Rogic and Sinclair.

Hope we can talk about the football come Thursday and pray we can put up a decent account of ourselves.

And when it gets to 6.0 can we change the teams around ?

I love how you "explain" a total humpin by Lyon in a positive light

Earl

I'd like to think it will be all about the football on Wednesday.

Talk tosh and riveting don't really go hand in hand. Quite sure BR will play a full strength team on Wednesday. He'll want the match sharpness up before the probable Rosenberg matches.
Rather see Hayes start over Forrest to be truthful

Realky looking forward to watching Tommy Rogic this season, he's been on fire end of last season and for Australia in confed cup, but hasnt had much time off, hope he stays injury free.

has to focus on something but his own team i suppose, its desperate deflection stuff rather than face the reality that rangers are absolute schite

on to the game, glad we got a couple of goals - makes the return leg more comfortable but still a job to do.

Benyu was superb at the friendly fought well to win the ball and showed the kind of strength you don't normally see in a wide player, hopefully good things to come from him.

Ntcham had some lovely play and some excellent passes, couple of lax moments but that's to be expected when you're not match fit.

Ajer had a solid game as well I though - hopefully he can continue to improve and we may have another CB ready to step in when needed

forgot about Ajer tbh, not worried about friendlies, particularly with a half team and a bunhc of youngsters.

good to get them a run out.

michael johnston available?

Yeah the result wasn't important but just a shame the way it ended after a positive hour of play, think Lyon just went for the kill one we switched it about.

Dunno what the story is with Johnston, wasn't included at all. Thought young Hill had a decent game at RB, probably the best young (Scottish) player of the day.

Johnston was injured and still is by the looks of it which is a shame.

The 2nd half team was pretty much

Hazard

Hill
Biton
McCart

Hayes
Henderson
Wardrop
Miller
Izzy

Atchison
McInroy

I think Hendry got some game time as well so Rodgers would have been fully aware that Lyon would have ran out comfortable winners.

sounded like we had a great first half, benyu suprising a few.

Ntcham looks a player.

Celtic started well on Friday but eased off after scoring the opening two goals. Never got out of 3rd gear for the remainder of the match. Sviatchenko however, was making the same mistakes as last season and had he been up against a better quality player than Linfield provided, we could easily have conceded a goal.

CB has to be addressed!!!

Erik defended well with any crosses or long balls but the ball down the channels is a problem for him, he's very rash and gives away needless fouls.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
He needs 4 or 5 touches to try and get the ball under control. His decision making on when and when not to take a touch, or in his case, touches is also poor.

He will cost us against better more nimble players. Seems to make the rest of the defence look unstable too.
