Can't help but want Gianni to be a massive success.
It's obvious he wants to be here and wants to do well.
Algarve, I hope he is as good as he looks.
One question, can Samu speak English? I have yet to see any interviews with the lad.
Got high hopes for this lad
Orta, just something about him
I can see why a few people are put off by Orta.
AR trusts him.

Sí, pero sólo un poco
All the Portuguese I know, sorry. I am told it is Brazilian slang for what?
Hopefully we're not going to be saying Oy Vey when the season starts.
Only a little eh Algarve ? 😁😁
The weirdest bit in that video is at 4:39.....one manager looking anything but comfortable with a player who has been picked for him.
Orta, my club, my professionalism, blah blah blah.
I have good feelings about this kid, and in that I mean I think he'll be good!..
Before anyone starts being funny!.
Hopefully it will be 'Isto é bom pra caralho'.
😂😂😂 caralho - I use that every day at work .....
Bloody hell, with translation you must make a lot of cockups at work!.
😂😂 I've always assumed no one had a clue 😂😂
Like I said, with translation!.
Other than that I hadn't a clue!.

You need to hurry up and get used to the Director of football and other scouts choosing the players we sign as this is now how our club is run. Like many other successful clubs have been for years.
Looks a player and think he will have no problem adapting to our game,
Can't doubt the lads desire to impress and he wants to be here.
All players want to impress when they join, all players coming from smaller clubs are going to want to be here.
Always strange to hear players say how great Thorp Arch is and then hear our owners say it's dated, not fit for purpose etc.
Was good of Orta to star in Fair Play's promotional video at no cost to himself.
Come out of that dark place, Jonty, this lad looks like the business. If he can gel with Wood, we will cause a lot more problems to the opposition, instead of relying on the defence to bail us out.
put it out there - massimos spirit lives on in victor
Good, when you say he looks the business, which games did you see him play in?
Not saying he's not, but we're signing players we would never have otherwise heard of thought their careers and all we see are their best bits edited on a video.
We have a long track record of players that looked great on youtube.
Maybe they caught TC at a bad moment, but whatever the opposite of enthused is, he was it.
Like you, Jonty, I have seen him on youtube. I read reports about his character by a Macedonian football writer, and I know he had a very good season last time around, albeit in a weaker league. He has also spoken passionately about wanting to be here. That's why I say he looks the business, not that he 'is' the business.
Here' something else. When you boil it down, what we have is a young player who wants to make it in English football and a club who need a pacy striker who knows where the net is.
I might have missed the TC moment you are talking about, but one moment does not make a season, and insofar as we have taken on players who looked good on youtube, we have also unearthed a couple of gems whose potential was overlooked or unseen by others. Just think back 12 months - could you have foreseen how strong our defence was going to be?
Of course this lad is a gamble, like any other player coming in, but he is the one I am most excited about. He tackles, he plays for the team, he's not afraid to shoot, he runs at players, and he scores goals. That's a lot of tools in the box. Tell you what, contain your optimism for the moment. You can tell me I was right at the end of the season.
