Why then when Klopp or whoever says Coutinho is not for sale do people on your board claim that's the end of that?

Even in this ridiculous market we find ourselves in, £75m for him sounds like a lot. Way too much actually.

I suspect if Barca bid £170M for Couts we would accept, and we would probably go and get a £100M player ourselves.

Apparently Naby Keita has properly banjoed a teammate with a shocking tackle in training, which was then abandoned. There's certain ways of putting in a transfer request/forcing a move, but that one probably isn't the best.
