In fairness, they struggled the season before last after they lost loads of players - Kurzawa, Martial, Ferriera Carrasco, Kondogbia, Abdennour and Berbatov all left in the summer of 2015 and they ended up losing their play off for the CL and went our of your group in the Europa.

Hit the jack pot with some of their signings, and Mbappe obviously, so it's unlikely they'll reach last season's heights, but they seem to do well unearthing good players.

Tbf Daz, it’s too hard to rebuild your team to their extent over and over. Will be in Europa spots probably in the league this year but will continue to sign well and their young gems like Youri will hit top form

Yeah it sure is hard. They might still have enough for CL, in fairness, judging by their form in the league so far and the lack of real consistent teams in the league bar PSG.

I wonder how long Jardim will stick around for, though. I think there will be a few bigger clubs in Europe sniffing around him and you'd suspect at some stage he'll want a new challenge, and a club that can hold onto its players for longer than a year.

Wouldn't mind him at United personally. Plays attacking football and isn't hesitant to develop youngsters. Opposite of the Portuguese fella we currently have.

Benzo had anymore mare in front of goal today

His finishing has been getting worse. That rebound miss and the header were terrible. You need to take them chances with the way Spurs set up as there were so many bodies to play through that it was going to be hard to keep creating good chances.

Not the end of the world as it's only a group game, but if these chances end up falling to Benzema again rather than Ronaldo in the ko stages it could cost you.

Though younre facking priiiiiicks in the CL so Ronaldo and Ramos will probably turn up with a big goal once Benz does miss these chances.

You mean the one where Casemiro got the ball and his foot rolled over it? Would've been harsh to give that, imo.

Kane was apparently offside for your goal. It's so tight though that I don't think you could fault the ref or lino for missing it.

Wasn't able to watch the game though, only seen extended highlights.
